I've been looking into this company the last 24 hours as some early research (I see it as a potential for my long term clean energy portfolio), but I am massively struggling to justify a market cap of over £500m.
Am I missing something obvious? That does seem rather high!
Morning all,
Have this down on my list of stocks I'm looking to add to my long term clean energy portfolio (among others - Ceres, ITM and some clean energy ETFs). I'm specifically interested in green hydrogen opportunities.
Been exploring AFC the last 24 hours, looks like a really exciting opportunity however I do struggle to justify the market cap, does anyone have any insight into why exactly it's over £100m?
Please note - I do not have a position yet and at this point I don't care about daily or monthly rises/falls, I'm just looking to the future.
At 3p it will be a ten bagger for a lot of folks!
Kind of like the 100 day plan timeline? :-P
The type of day you get usually when an RNS has been lodged!
255551 shares? I saw that too!
It's the spreads that they're changing to LOOK as though it's the price. Price hasn't changed anywhere near as much as it seems
I know it's only a 1.2% holding by QRM but: In September's interim results statement, PHC reported significant progress, most notably: · New management in place in new headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina · New Development and Commercial agreements with Arysta LifeScience and others · Moved to expanded research facilities in Seattle which enhanced and accelerated investment in the discovery and evaluation of a new generation of Harpin products In the second half of the year, implementation of the new strategy has continued: · In July, the Company's agreement with Monsanto was discontinued and PHC recovered its globally licensed rights to Harpin as a seed treatment. · In September, Jeff Hovey was appointed Chief Financial Officer. Since joining, he has completed the transfer of the Company's administration and accounting functions from Pittsburgh to Raleigh. The Pittsburgh office was closed on 31 December 2013. · In November, PHC completed the sale of its non-core European distribution activities while retaining a core capability in the UK and Spain to enable the continued exploitation of Europe, South Africa and certain other non-American markets.
Any share would rise as soon as it's spotted if it has higher assets than it has a market cap! Sort of like a get in nice and early and if multiple people spot it at the same time and they are the first to spot it then it would trigger an increase in SP.
If 2.7 goes then .30 should be very easily attainable fairly quickly.
I take it the market is still asleep with regards this share?
not giving us much time to research before hopping in!
Cash at £2m, NET assets worth £2.55m, and the market cap is £2m? Interesting!
£1.12 and i'd be living abroad, with a multi tier swimming pool and a butler!!
Such is life mate - misery loves company!
There's been a nice afternnon RNS over at UJO
So what you're saying is people are mad to sell at a 250% gain and should not sell just because 'it's fun to watch your profit disappear as the Sp drops?"
seen your over at VIY - worth looking into?
