That's too much of a gamble, but they have to make there case first, and good lawyers don't come cheap.... That's way before any court case.... And if it's JE they are also after, I thought someone said some while ago he hasn't got any cash.... Or was that just rambling by someone ? Either way, it's high risk, because you can bet your bottom dollar, the third parties will also have their lawyers on the case as well. Too much of a risk????? Who knows, for sure, none of us do, because we certainly don't know all of the facts.... I will wait and see what happens before judgement...

The trouble with that statement was "They have legal proceedings" I would like to know how much is this costing? against how much they are likely to retrieve, against how long these proceedings will actually take. Quite a lot of unknowns there isn't there...!!!!

It just goes to show you how gullible some people are. They hear or read one thing, and that is the one thing they all cling on to. Makes you wonder if it's worth making any suggestions or discussions on any BB, whether you agree or not.;-))

I tend to agree, let's face it, would you pay for something upfront without knowing what you are actually buying???? Well I for one certainly will not, but I'm sure the singing and shouting crew will be putting their hands in their pockets again...;-))

I'm still not sure, as when you register your business you have to declare what your business is, I'm not sure about using the name resource opens the door to anything. Re reversing into diamonds, they are having a bad time at the moment as well, crazy world, diamonds down, gold down, oil down, dollar down, what can be a safe haven in these times of money issues.????

As I own a company myself within the O&G industry I do have some knowledge in that area. My reasoning for stating that was, a few years ago I tried to diversify by adding a different section to my company and my request was turned down. When I asked why, the response was quite simple:- "Your company is not registered to act in that area". So, if SER are going to diversify they will have to make changes in their registration, and or, the name of the company, but that could be messy at the moment, for reasons that most are aware of. Hopefully that answers your question, and thanks for appreciating sensible questions and answers without all the rubbish.

I hope you are right, but one thing is for sure, they will need an expert in the O&G industry to help them fill their dreams, and ours. The worry I have is that as it stands there's not a lot to work with, in terms of assets and cash, I know you've said £300K, but in today's money, that's not very much. Soneone asked how I voted, well I voted for most of the resolutions, but not all, I don't really mind how the results went, but I voted with how I felt was best for the company. I think all we can do ow is sit back and wait, I did suggest some time ago that I could throw my ideas in the pot, but things have changed for me, so wouldn't be able to add much now, time wise. Let's hope 2016 is healthy and prosperous for everyone, even the posts I don't really see eye to eye with.

That's a very good post, and appreciated, but I will ask you one question. Why oh why did you support the team that you've just pointed the finger at back in May????? Of course you weren't posting using ST back then, but KK, but why, when so many of the posters on here warned you back then that the BOD were telling lies. I'm sure that you remember that I was one of those people, that's why I agree with your earlier post tonight. It took you time to get there, but better late than never I suppose..;-))

You are now showing how stupid you really are. WE? Which mean you don't know, but just following the crowd. Not attending an AGM does not equal the meaning Troll. Grow up for goodness sake. I want PIs to get their cash back as much as anyone, but if you look at the history of SER we've been dealt cards from a one sided pack. No body that has been on the board for many years has acted on behalf of the shareholders, and to be honest I don't think the current incumbents are either, time will tell. I do not hide at all, I've been to many AGMs and met many people, so, if you would like to meet me, I'm sure that can be arranged. The way you've worded that makes SER in a position to taken out. We don't have much in the way of cash or assets, so surely that makes us vulnerable for someone else to snap up. But, having said that, would anyone really want to?

Amazing..... You know who they are, and you are coming for them...!!!!!! So can you explain to everyone here what exactly that you are doing? and to whom? Because we certainly don't want to be tripping over each other and double dipping.... So, an explanation would be appreciated.
