I also think that a lot of peeps trying to sell will be met by NT, as the MMs will not wish to be lumbered with millions of shares, so I think it will be difficult in many cases. The trick will be better suited during a rising share, but that won't happen over night IMO

No my friend, I think you'll find that's (generally) the drop dead date to make your claim via the brokers. The GM is the end of next week, and I think it's a for gone conclusion that it will be passed. Then the shares will be issued the following week IMO.

If that was their goal, why didn't they just supply the loan themselves, then take the payment in shares as per previously ? I can't see that this is their overall plan, as it would have been much easier for them to have achieved the larger majority in a closed deal.
