Good day today ???31 Oct 2018 07:57
European stocks are setting up for a strong bounce on Wednesday as a bruising October for
global equity markets draw to a close. Both the pan-European and euro zone stock indices are set
for their weakest month since August 2015, though this session's moves could change that.
Earnings will once again set the tone – and companies are sounding overall more positive
with L’Oreal, for example, saying its sales bounced thanks to strong Asian demand. This bucks
the trend of results so far warning of slower Chinese growth, and the cosmetics giant’s shares
are seen rising 3 percent.
