Had these shares for many years and seen the price drop to such a low Im keeping hold of them probably for sentimental value... Wondering when they will be worth just a £1 each.... Also..... can shares go into worthless value..???
Total novice at this and not sure what this means to me.. Basically, do I make any money ?? do i have to do anything. ??
Had these shares many many years and have been in freefall since the 9/11 disaster... They used to be about £15 a share... Im just hanging on now cos really dont know what to do with this disaster of a share... The dividend is the only plus point in a doom holding.... Rant over..... good luck in anticipation people..
I remember many years ago when these shares were over £12 each.... The shares took a nose dive after 9/11 and have subsequently sunk to this pathetic level.... I really have no idea if I should just cut my losses or keep in desperate hope.... Would value some opinions.... I have in the region of 2500 shares...
Just a question in addition to the point made by Filshare on Tues. This share is dropping like a stone and any thoughts on you wizards out there is this a good time to buy in while the price is so low.
When this cheque for the sale to ENOC is received ... what is the deal on capital gains tax??? 1. Is tax taken at source 2. Do i declare it on a self assessment form .. (although i dont self assess at the moment) 3. Say nothing.. Any advice appreciated..
Wow ....... what a start to a Monday morning. Ive no idea being a novice in holding shares but noticed a slight jump at the ENOC level offer stage then it slowly fell away... why the huge surge on this Monday morning....
Have held DGO shares since approx 1997. If they are compulsory bought from me due to the possible ENOC bid am i liable to any Capital Gains Tax. ??? Very novice at this game so any advice much appreciated
Thank you Griddoc for you help.
Not received my dividend cheque - can anybody tell me who to contact ?? thanks in advance.
Hi to all you who received a dividend. Can anybody help me - I hold over 3000 shares in DGO and have not received any cheque or payment. I am sure I have changed my address details when I moved over 5 years ago but if I have not could anybody tell me who to contact with regards to a change of address. Many thanks in advance
Can anybody tell me why Dragons share price has dropped over 50p in the last week ?
Hi all, could anybody tell me or have any ideas why the share price has picked itslef up pretty well (especially this week) ? Have had these shares about 14 years and they are an up and down stock but really enjoy these highs and lows but obviously prefer the highs. Many thanks.
Thank you kj48 - I am inclined to agree with your views. The company seem in good order and have been relativeley unscathed during the last troubled 18 months or so. They seem to have good cash flow and seem a wel organised company always looking at the bigger picture. Just one item I would like to mention - shame no dividends ever issued.
I have held these shares for many years and have often wondered to hold or sell. Now they have hit the magical £5 (a price they were a few years ago) - has anyone out there got any thoughts on my options.
I really have the same question as purvy - this company up and down like a yoyo - not much stability in the share price although a reliable well run company with a good exploration record. Any clues just to ease my mind.
Anyone out there know of the quite large and sudden drop in share price.
Santo, What does this mean for us the shareholders ? Please excuse my ignorance !!
Many thanks Bonz1957 for your informative answer - hope your success continues. Thanks again.
Many thanks boracic for your reply - lets hope further exploration proves successful. Have been waiting many years but lets hope.
