The water-/oil-mobility ratio is a key parameter in determining the efficiency of the water/oil displacement process, with the recovery efficiency increasing as the water-/oil-mobility ratio decreases.

The high api will be beneficial when waterflood takes place,a lighter oil should move easier with out the need for steam or additives,just plain old water

I quoted the Middle East,because lots of the worlds oil comes from there and is very high sulphur,trinny oil is a sweet light crude,as is UK onshore find in the Weald,38 to 40 api,and the diesel at the pump is advertised as low sulphur maybe because it's got home grown oil in it or the fact that for the last 25 years refineries have been adding cooking oil to the mix,I bumped in a waste oil collector and as I was interested at the time in cooking oil asked if he was making bio diesel and he told it goes straight to the refinery and he had been collecting it for the last twenty years,that was 5 years ago

JP,have to wait and see,but goudron was only doing 30bopd And bruv,I ran a diesel on soya bean oil for 4 years when diesel was 1.45 and veg oil was .50 so how do you know what you can run a diesel on,after all they were designed to run on peanut oil

I think he columbus is going to rediscover bonasse and we will see a simular upside that we saw at goudron in the beginning,don't forget the company has only just got sorted as far as the noose that was around our neck and I am so glad we are not drilling 45 bopd wells for half a million dollars

NR was going for longevity of wells,different tactics now and oil price has doubled in the last 15 months,but it's only steadied the last couple of months,timing is right

Could be the 15 deep wells,they were earmarked for EOR,but I think bonasse is going to a good low cost earner,goudron went from 30 bopd to 500 bopd in first year,so that could be first choice,but I hope we start on at least two fronts,bonasse and pilot waterflood because if we could have kept the pressure up in the deep wells that would have been transformational,but Ahmed sounds like the right type of guy to have over there and koots has the drive and connections to push this on
