Gazzelberry, I had the luxury of indoor toilet and bath also single use kitchen for our family, brand new council house ! But single glazing, coal fire with back boiler, freezing in bed and wearing your clothes in bed, it was awful but we didn’t know any better!

Since I started investing in Lloys I have received in excess of £39,473.00 in dividends. I had thought this share was a bit of a loser but on reflection I have made a substantial profit. So Sufcessex is correct, Lloyds is a winner after all!

The country is bracing itself for the new PM. After returning the previous 3 due to manufacturing faults another has been chosen from the same supplier and its not expected to be less faulty only equally flawed.

I have decided to pray to St Jude, the saint for hope and impossible causes for 12 consecutive nights in order to get this share price moving. It worked for my 11 plus so trying again!

I have no reason to lose thousands of pounds just so Lloyds can have a GOOD buy back, mostly because the buy back makes no difference to the share price and seems too hold £ the price down.

I don’t care who the PM is as long as they get this share price up!

Theosus, if the interest rates are reduced then housing market will continue to flame out of control making housing very expensive to buy, I don’t disagree that power costs are contributing to inflation but cheap money borrowing is not the answer.

Gateboy13, totally agree with you, too much cheap money available for too long, interest rates will need to rise, substantially, BoE doing a very bad job!
