I have a very small position in First Mining Finance. It just started trading on the TSX Thursday, but has been on the OTC in the US. I wondered why it had moved up a bit the last two days, and now I saw the TSX announcement. Anyway here's a press release announcement with the TSX symbol. Of course, DYODD. https://www.juniorminingnetwork.com/junior-miner-news/press-releases/1525-tsx/ff/33694-first-mining-finance-announces-2017-agm-results-commences-trading-on-tsx.html Been enjoyable reading everyone's posts and appreciated everyone's input. Best to you all in your investing endeavors. Yours, WfG
Guess you'd need the link, lol. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/markets/article-3629860/DIRECTOR-S-DEALS-Mariana-Resources-chief-Eric-Roth-cashes-mining-boom.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
Did a double take when I first saw the story as I was doing some browsing before I took a good look at the date.
My Scottrade account here in the US says my voting info was mailed out Sat, the 3rd.

Thanks motion. The Sandstorm prices mentioned, $6 target and $4.85 near current are on the TSX, not the US just to avoid confusion. www.streetwisereports.com/pub/na/sandstorm-golds-mariana-acquisition-is-focus-for-analysts
GT - the US OTC on MRLDF is so thinly traded that the share price is easily manipulated. Generally less than 80,000 shares. On the day of the Scheme announcement there were over 3 million shares traded, so the shares are there when big announcements come out. Thinking we'll hit the US high of $1.26 ,97.5p, (announcement day) again in the near future. Would expect the Scheme material to be out this week and if so, we'll see how it affects the share price.

Interesting blog on metals and miners I just came across http://incakolanews.blogspot.com/2017/ This is from down the page if you work your way down: Two days ago... ...on May 9th, your humble scribe wrote short'n'sweet positives on the price of gold... "...if the drop stops around here, it could be a whole lot of upside fun and frolics in the near future." ...and on Sandstorm... "It's amazingly cheap right now." ...Gold (SSL.to) (SAND). Two days later, gold did indeed bounce on that red line, is $10/oz higher and suddenly moving like a champ. Meanwhile SAND is up nearly 10% and making Doody look like the tool that he is. And let's be clear, SAND has only just started on its rebound move, there's a ton of upside left to come on this move. It may take a few weeks, the info lockdown at the company while its purchase of the AIM-listed MARL goes through will make sure of that so you're not going to get much market pumperation in the meantime. But the savvier among you should love that, not hate it. Further questions? DIGG THIS! • ADD TO DEL.ICIO.US • STUMBLE IT! • • EMAIL THIS
SAND $3.61, up 2 cents, 0.56% on 2,679,736 shares. High $3.64, low $3.52 MRLDF $1.19, down 0.042 cents, -3.41% on 106,996 shares. High $1.235, low $1.186 Guess we get the voting information next week, so it should be interesting
Yep, noticed that MARL on the day of the announcement hit a high if $1.73CAD, closing at $1.71 which wasThursday's (May11th) close (and the day's high). After the first two days after the announcement the volume did not exceed 11/2 million shares again until today when it hit 1,984,441 million. Irrational exuberance?
SAND $3.59 (2.79 pounds) which was the high for the day, up 7 cents, 1.99% on 2,590,987 shares. Low $3.48 MRLDF $1.232 (96p) which was the high for the day, up .022 cents, 1.82% on 106,093 shares. Low $1.19
SAND $3.52, up 13 cents, 3.83% on 2,912,023 shares. High $3.54, low $3.37 MRLDF $1.21 up 2 cents, 1.68%, on extremely light trading of 11,833 shares. High $1.22, low $1.17
Also, I can't type worth a bean.
Meant GT - must of gotten a bit woozy reading all those positives!
Thanks TG for the photo transcription of the slide. Don't suppose they had a slide on the negatives for both companies, lol.
