Hiya, this has actually risen from 33p when i got in last March 2013 to 48p now so thats nearly a 50% profit, yes you need a strong stomach with Dixons but with plenty of merger talk and good news on the horizon (we hope) it can only go one way, keep the faith folks, plus where is BARCLAYKID?? GLA

Lets hope so, i reckon an extension announced on Monday, can't imagine it will get called off on the last day.

Well it looks like this is going to last the distance, 1 more day on Monday and its going to be interesting. Any news anybody?

Maybe 55p if we get some good news re the merger, yes this share is a tad infuriating but hopefully the shareholders are due some good news, could be worse could be in the pension game, GLA

Holding firm at 50-52p, just need the kickstart of good news on the merger front to get this share rolling again, its certainly stubborn but a firm indication of a merger by the 24 March should get it over the 60p line GLA!

If the merger comes off this could be huge for dixons, it makes sense and best news that has been announced for ages. Less stores obviously with a duplicate of dixons/carphone warehouse but that makes sense, more online focus and £1 here we come!

What's going on its actually going up? I had stopped looking at one stage it was getting that bad but now i think i'll carry on not looking, instead i'll look go online and look at the great british weather, Ken Barlow in court and perhaps a cruise, my last view for a few weeks, GLA we need this!!

Despite a big drop recently this is the bottom of the barrel surely, only 1 in 8 shares are up today so maybe the only way is up, hope so, GLA

This time last year end of Jan 27-28p the share price was after a bad month and this year its a reflection of that, 50p by xmas 2013 so you don't have to be einstein to realise what can happen, enjoy your weekend.

Forgot what that was like, dixons needs some luck and momentum creating from somewhere, just don't see where from, great upgrades but that doesn't count for much, its another day of hold on tight for me.

Hiya. I don't think you are far off with that prediction, this time last year i panicked (still made a profit) but should have held tight, January blues are so true for Dixons, nothing to worry about on the retail horizon this year just need the good news to keep it ticking along.

This share remains as infuriating as ever, last thursday on results day i decided to look the other way as i knew it would go down, i wasn't disappointed, all the fundamentals are there for a rise just needs a push from somewhere.

And so it goes on, the big dipper at its finest, we could do with some good new son this one.

Up and down, up and down, up and down, think we've just seen the low point after thursday & friday and now the share they call Dixons is creeping up again, any concrete evidence of a potential buyer?

£1 definitely in 18 months but yes its infuriating! Its January blues (well most of them anyway as buys), but same as last year, just got to sit tight, we could do with a few takeover rumors to get this going!

This happened last year, if i remember rightly dropped to 25p in Jan after being 36p pre christmas and the fool i was sold out at the wrong time, this time i won't make the same mistake, hold on tight it will be going up next week. Granted a very poor couple of days but look at the broker ratings, this went up 85% last year so its grin and bear it until the upward curve. GLA Enjoy your weekends!!

Surely next week this will rise after the results, its been hovering at 50-52p for weeks so hopefully after a good set of figures Dixons will stand out in a week of other retail results. Onwards and upwards and maybe just maybe the good times are around the corner.
