Nice to see some action here, splitting the business makes sense to me. The market is huge and from our client list our product is up there with the best. This could be an explosive share if they get it right, I still think the Salesforce link up is a game changer that just isn't reflected yet.

The new bars in Durham and Huddersfield look good, open just in time for Christmas and NYE. I'm happy to hold and would add at these levels if I had any spare funds.

Well the market reaction to this statement was not exactly what I was expecting! This is why I'm glad the company didn't use the cash they had for a share buyback as I think it would have made sod all difference to the SP. Oddly I have no intention of buying more shares even though the SP will likely get back to the 250p mark at some point, which would represent a good return. I'm just loathed to put more money into this dog.

Did Richard Griffiths completely sell out of this? He's just bought another share I own...I hope he has better luck with that one!

Tosca topping up is my guess, when they want to buy the SP goes down. Funny that, must just be a coincidence. When they sold a slug last year or whenever it was the SP went up IIRC. Sure is one sorry mess of a share, completely dead money for the past 4 years.

Been groundhog day here for about 4 years. My only interest here now is what Tosca's end game is. You'd have thought a merger with S4 is the most obvious but the market is certainly not reflecting any chance of that happening in R1's SP!

Why does sti post 24/7 about a share he doesn't own? Nobody would do this unless they are being paid or are short. But if he's been shorting since the blog days he should have made fortunes by now so why still spend all day every day posting? It's not much of a life. I don't really see the point as surely all that's left here these days are a few long term holders who are going to hold this until the bitter end. Bizarre

I just hope we don't announce we are buying something. Rightly or wrongly the SP has crashed since we bought YUME.

R1's valuation is because the market does not believe the company's forecasts. Pretty simple.

I'm surprised we haven't been bought. To me it appears we have a great product but don't monitize it very well. Other than the obvious buyers like GE or Siemens I'd have thought America's tech giants could do something great with UBI. Their CEO's know how to sell. Microsoft, Amazon etc etc Maybe the link up with Salesforce will lead to something.

Surely it's not too much to expect a TINY bit of interest in this share when our two largest shareholders are helping fund Martin's new venture? This share has been completely dead for almost 5 years. What an absolute stinker

I don't think we have enough cash to do a share buy back, $27m is only a couple of months operating costs isn't it? A lean spell would soon eat that up.

I also don't think a buy back would make any difference to the SP. There is no interest in this share from anyone other than two ii's, one of which is a very shady operator IMO..

I know it's NATO. I was referring to our current deals with the Chinese military as referenced in my post on May 30th. Anyway I don't want to jinx this, I've been waiting for a rise for quite a while!

Looks good. I just hope getting involved with the Chinese military doesn't come back to bite us.

Think I might make an appearance this year. I see the time and venue has changed. IIRC it used to be at 9am which was too early for me.

Clearly the market has no faith in the FY19 figures being achieved. It's amazing to think we are at 22p old money.

Some interesting activity in the past couple of weeks

Our major shareholders can get a decent return on their money without the SP going up...they can just take us over on the cheap. That's probably my major concern with this company, other than a history of poor management. Tosca are not dummies and I'm in no doubt that they are a very shady outfit.

Thanks for that. The China partner's web site, Donn Technology, has a case study of a Chinese prison using UBI technology as well as the Chinese military. Not really what I was expecting!
