So full approval could theoretically drop at any point.

Imagine your child was born in a hospital just outside the Manchester area, was carrying the wrong gene,received the normal antibiotic and developed deafness as a result. In the aftermath you learned that hospitals in nearby Manchester were using the AIHL test that was saving other peoples' babies from going deaf , and hence your child would have been saved a life of deafness had it been treated in different hosplital. Happening every day i'm sure.

Don't think NICE can afford to drag their heels on this one so i'm expecting a fast-tracked approval in coming weeks.

When the test is proven to work and is safe, is there any chance the full NICE approval could be fast-tracked ? Why would they just let children go deaf every day when there's a test out there to prevent it..almost like " your baby won't go deaf if you live in the Manchester postcode" . Anyone know why the roll-out process has to take so long ?

I also see an old friend on here from the ill-fated ODX debacle, hi JAdam. You were totally correct over there during the covid madness and not too many listened (myself included) so i apologise for my part in some of the character asassination you received as you tried to warn of the impending SP collapse. Cedit where credit is due. Hope you are right here too btw 😉😄
