I would guess it'll be just the one list,but who knows.Being on the list would obviously be highly beneficial tho not sure if it would be the end of the world if not.Ordinary joe public will prob oot for the cheapest/handiest/most advertised options.Only the more diligent and reponsible people will bother to check the govt. website for approved test suppliers imo.My sister is a pharmacist and she wasn't even aware this list was being published this week.

Let's try some ball-park figures :
Capacity approx. 2mn tests p/wk
Split between Visitect/Antibody/DHSC..assuming low ball retail @£4 per test on average
Assume 30% margin on DHSC,50% on the rest,roughly = £3.6mn GP , p/wk , £187mn p/annum
Assuming 50% capacity uptake = £93.5mn
Admittedly,these are rough figures and the variables can change,but as a ball-park figure of £90mn Gross Profit @ 50% capacity @ £4 per test overall..not bad considering our mcap is hovering around £90-£100mn.
Obviuosly,Gp figures could end up more or less than this estimate,but as a guide i think it's a fair enough starting point.Personally expecting the SP to be at least £1 in the near term.

Imagine what this will open at Monday mornin if HUA drops..

As i understand it (could be wrong of course),test providers still awaiting approval are still eligible be on the list..even if some of them don't make the initial list next week,they can still be added to the list when more approvals land..?

Ha,.for sure.I'm hoping that,if they didn't raise around the latest 2 spikes in SP then maybe they don't need to,or they're waiting for a higher point at which to do so..In Aug update they had talked about "pressure on cashflow" the longer the DHSC non-payment rumbled on.Maybe the tide has turned on the cashflow situ,.as you say,who knows ! A fundraise wouldn't put me off as such,am just wondering if we'll get any more chances to snap up some more bargains.

I've been mulling over that point as well,talking myself into not going all-in here.Have 30% of my funds invested.Only thing that concerns me is the probable need for a fundraise ( dirty word i know ) in the near future,but i'm hoping this will follow after some highly anticipated good news.Also hoping that we'll be producing so many LFTs that finances won't be a problem..torn..any thoughts ?

@RegulatorUK..thks for that.Think it's important to note that if/when ODX is not named on the providers list,it's not a big deal,as no doubt the trolls in here will jump all over it when the time comes.Assume you're in full recovery mode at this stage from your infection..bit like ODX..?

..and do we think,when the time comes,that it's more likely that ODX itself will be named on the list,or a distributor ?
