I hardly think the world's O&G service companies will be checking the Tanzanian papers, so yes, a legal requirement IMO.
Personally, I'm not nearly as bullish as some in terms of the CH-1 spud date. I *don't* think it will happen this year due to transport of the rig and hauling to Ntorya outside of the rainy season. I remember travelling through Uganda in the rains and our truck slip-slidin' away (literally; we had to dig it out of the mud at one point).
And, frankly, (a) there's NT-2 to re-work first (which I think requires the rig?) and (b) more than 6 months in 2026 before the pipeline is ready.
But it's going to happen. And, as a significant shareholder, that's what matters to me.
