A perfect time to top up or buy in maybe?

And still the sp is being pushed down....i think many are thinking the same now and looking to buy in very soon if they haven't already. Could well be that those that sold higher may try and start getting back in at such a bargain price. How low will they push this down i wonder? No doubt buying at these levels is getting very difficult for largish amounts. Will buy a few if it goes any lower. At some point the sp will reverse back up and that time is so close now imo. I do anticipate a sharp move upwards when this does reverse especially as the sp has been pushed down way too low for too long

Indeed Sharetrader123, i would hope that will be addressed on the next set of drilling results and conference call. Marketing is a key factor to success and OMI really do need to up their game regarding this. I really do feel that as drilling progresses, the results will be much more pleasing and so translate to a much higher sp.

I'm sure OMI must be aware of how poor sentiment must be with a drop of over 40% in the sp since the last drilling results, so i would expect a very upbeat conference call and maybe the next set of results will be presented in a more positive way. Also i hope OMI do some better PR when the next results do come out. The sp is way out of line with the fundamentals imo.

I do think many have sold up now with such a long protracted and severe drop in the sp. Not really seen the sp drop continuously more or less for this length of time so not surprising some have now given up. That said market forces will sometime act in such a way to cause maximum distress so a share and it will just keep falling despite the positive fundamentals, but once that tipping point comes, the sp will start reversing and get pushed back up sharpish. The sp is way oversold imo and there may well be background buyers as for every seller there has to be a buyer. Sometimes a sp will be forced down to allow big buyers in and then allowed to move back up once those buyers have got what they want, all at the expense of small shareholders

The first drill area was picked as it was the easiest to get access to and as i understand the purpose of the drilling was to establish the geography in a big part hence the results have not been as explosive as some may have hoped. The drilling has accelerated and things will be much better imo as we move onto other drill points. Simply 2 of the best companies with a wealth of experience and knowledge are with OMI and they clearly know and understand how to tackle this project. Gold has fallen a fair bit but the continual decline, over the last 2 weeks, in the sp of OMI has been way over done imo. I expect the price of gold to start moving back up as well as it is also oversold imo. It does feel as if sentiment has been completely crushed for quite a while now and i would hope and expect OMI to bring some positive sentiment and news with the next drilling RNS to counter this very disappoining last 2 weeks.

Amazing that the sp can be pushed back down to this level despite the drilling that has taken place...the project has moved forward and all is fundamentally looking good, yet the powers that be are able to get the sp back to these low 20s again...seems if you follow technical analysis the low support is being tested again. That said, a bit of positive news should cause the sp to move back up strongly imo and i do favour positive news very soon and with the OMI conference call due in 10 days, the odds are very much to the upside now imo

The sp drop has been severe and lasted a couple of weeks even though the drilling RNS was not bad so i would expect the retrace to be sudden with a big retrace to over 30p in a short span of time imo.

Yes Greb...my thoughts are that the sp is being kept low for future demand as you suggest and maybe other background buyers willing to pay a certain price hence the protracted price surpression

Yes Greb...it really does seem like the sp is being surpressed on purpose....just observing the way the sp moves over the last few days makes me think something is clearly going on in the background....either way soon enough the sp will be allowed to move back up...just very depressing and disappointing seeing the sp languishing at such a low level....manipulation at its finest...really hope the BOD can bring some real positives out soon that actually allow the sp to move upwards....

With the sp being driven down so low and for a while yet buying seemingly difficult, would that suggest there is some kind of a big order in the background? Smoke and mirrors seems to be the case with the sp i feel. More drilling news close and the Q and A session soon. Hopefully things will become clearer over the coming days. This protracted drop in the sp must be close to an end imo

Seems such a big disconnect to what the company is achieving and the very low sp......really wish i knew what was driving the sp to these low levels. Even though the price of gold has fallen over the last few weeks from a very high position i don't think this can justify the present low sp. If anything i expect the price of gold to recover with a falling dollar value and the big stimulous package due from the US very soon. I do feel the elastic band on the sp has pulled way too far back and we are due a very big bounce back any time. Just wish i had spare funds to top up...

The sp has been on a mega decline since the drilling rns.....did not expect such a big drop...would hope the BOD are able to boost sentiment on the next news and the Q and A proves to be very positive...seems too easy for the sp to be dragged down despite all the positives in play.

All positives in play for OMI, just need the sp to catch up....i'm still non the wiser for why the sp is so low. However it will catch up very soon imo and start reflecting the true project value. Can be difficult to just wait for things to happen but i have seen how patience can be rewarded for those willing to wait. It has been a long wait for OMI to get to where it is but with drilling moving at a fast pace, i feel a re rate in the sp is very close.

I think gold will still have a high valuation going forward. With the dollar under pressure and the US pushing out it's stimulous package i think gold will recover in price. Gold will still be in demand so will maintain a relatively high price. Either way Anza should be very profitable even if gold goes a bit lower imo. With more drilling, a resource estimate can be established and so we should get a more concrete project valuation. Going forward no doubt OMI's share will be bought out well before gold is actually mined imo and by then gold will still have a high valuation imo. Either way going forward, what ever the outcome the sp will be way more higher than now. With that in mind, it is best to just hold and let the jigsaw come together.

Finally a blue day. Sp been pushed down way too low...a bounce back up was inevitable with such low prices. Hope this is the start of the re trace back up. A bit of positivity should move the sp back up quickly imo. More of the same tomorrow...:)

Lets hope the market reacts positively to the next drilling results.....i think there will be a positive reaction as i think a better understanding of what is in the ground will be more apparent. Hope the BOD has a mindset to do some PR with the next set of results. A bit of life in the sp finally.....

It has been very disappointing seeing the sp reaction to drilling results and does make me wonder will the sp just tank again with the next set of results. Have to say the lack of any PR from OMI after the last drilling results has only added to the negative sentiment imo and the resulting very poor sp performance. Clearly a longer term perspective does suggest all will be good and the sp will be much higher but short term it seems most RNS's from OMI have resulted in the sp dropping. Will keep holding and just hope the next drilling results have a positive effect on the sp and OMI decide to come out with some strategic PR. Still think this is a strong buy especially with the sp at such a l.ow level, but the last few days have been a real kick in the teeth

Definitely could do with some positive PR from OMI with the way the sp is at the moment. Sentiment has taken a bashing with the last drilling RNS and the RNS was not even bad.

The sp is a few pence above the last placing which was quite low in itself and we have moved forward with drilling with the pace being noched up so it is really surprising to see the sp at these levels imo. Really would have expected the sp to stay above 25p if anything. Just goes to show how difficult it can be to predict the way the sp can go at times despite all the positive fundamenmtals. Sometimes a share price can get over extended to the upside and vice versa to the low side. The sp is way oversold imo at this stage and so expect the sp to move back up very soon. i would hope once it turns back up, it will move several pence up in quick fashion and back to the 30p range
