Very true Impecunious2....At some point the value will show here despite all the cr@p we have been put through as shareholders. The present sp defies all logic to me but it is a product of many negatives which do appear to have all conspired to trash the sp for now. With the impending news due over the coming weeks, i do think the value will return here and when the sp does start the move back up, many will be jumping back in more than likely. There is a tendancy for people to jump on board when they feel the sp is on an upwards trend and not much longer to wait for this imo

Agree zapsnap...when all are pessimistic...that's the time to buy...we are so close to the bottom if not already there imo...I also made the mistake of coming out of ggp around 1p before the mega rise thinking all was lost then, hence why I cant let this opportunity go especially when we have 2 big players on board and so much big news imminent

Does seem many are so pesimmistic here now, understandably. With the sp at mega lows and i guess most are in the red including me, a bit of positivity could do wonders for the sp and see many getting back in. Still holding and still expect big news in the coming weeks and with drilling news due in a few days for starters. Depressing times for OMI but the downside now is very limited and the upside is way more probable now imo

Based on past performance it can be difficult to see positives especially with the way us shareholders have just been battered down for so long, however with sentiment so low and the sp at such a low level i will go on the basis that we will get a boost in the sp as we await drilling results which i do anticipate being positive and good for the sp.

Agree bhargav, his wording does have to be taken with a pitch of salt however we now have something to focus on in the near term and i do think the initial drilling results will be favourable. This should, imo, boost the sp and in the mean time before than i do see people buying in, in anticipation especially with the sp at these levels.

I do also think we will see a change in a good way for us shareholders once Phase 2 is announced with a ramp up in drilling and results being released more frequently. We just have to wait and see but with the sp at these levels, it is dirt cheap for what we have and a move to the upside is way more probable now imo

In the interview yesterday Brad did say a couple of weeks for drilling news so dare i say we should know by mid July. With the sp so low we may get a decent move up in the sp imo. Time will tell but the big move will come once Phase 2 is announced. This has been a very tough hold but i do feel much better times are now ever closer.

We should be getting some drilling news in the next couple of weeks so i would expect a move up in the sp in anticipation. I am quietly confident in some good numbers and a positive market reaction.

We clearly have had many negatives with OMI. Way more than i ever expected and this is aptly shown with a decimated sp. Patience has been needed in bucket loads here and i, like many am in the red. That said we have come so far and now things are gearing for the next leg up. The sp is at a rock bottom price and with newsflow over the coming weeks, the sp has a much higher chance of moving to the upside. So i keep holding and would buy more if i had spare funds just to average down if anything. A bit of positive news and the sp will move up in an instant in a big way imo.

I would expect newsflow to be much better once Phase 2 starts and thus a much stronger sp going forward.

I agree DrRemington, Looks more and more like Brad was told to tone his positivety down and this is obvious with the very poor state of the sp. Even now we are in the red today. It is pretty obvious to me that Newmont/Agnico like what they see and will move to phase 2. With all the positives due and the move to phase 2, the sp is way overdue a big bounce to the upside imo

Good positive and upbeat interview from Brad. A lot of news due over the next few weeks, Phase 2 decision by 6th September which is a 'game changer decision point' as Brad says and will lead to a ramp up in drilling. Also we are due some drilling results in the next couple of weeks from what Brad said. Regarding other projects, Brad is positive with El Pantano and also expects drill results from the Brazilian Tin project by late August/early September. Amazing with so much positive news imminent the sp is still lagging at a low point. This has to pop to the upside very soon imo

Can't believe the sp has dropped today. Scaped some funds together to buy a small amount at 7.73p...With drilling news due in July and other news due over the coming weeks/months, the present sp makes no sense what so ever.

I would think the BOD are in a position to buy shares on the open market now and are likely not in a closed period. With the sp being at it's lowest point for a very long time and a time where we are due a lot more significant info, it makes strategic sense for them to buy in. It will also show confidence going forward and will be a key driver to get new shareholders on board. i would hope they could buy a significant amount especially with the sp at it's current rock bottom price

I do feel the sp has been battered down to hell and with so much negativity and 'blood on the floor', this is actually the time to buy/top up. The sp can quickly move back up in a big way as we previouly used to see here in the early days. That time is virtually here again imo. Phase 2 so close now

Indeed bhargav as you indicated previously, it would seem July to September will be more positive for us as regards newsflow and i do anticipate some good drilling results in July. Phase 2 is where we will rerally benefit imo. So despite all the negativity in the sp and lack of news over the previous many months, there should be a fundamental change that will be good for us shareholders. And yes directors buying a significant amount of shares would be a strong sign of support and with a dirt cheap price it makes big sense for Brad and the other directors.

Thanks for the update Mambamentality....i think since Newmont/Agnico took over with the drilling etc, newsflow has been very limited and i guess this is why Brad has been very limited as to what he can say. That said Newmont/Agnico are clearly here for a massive payday. They want ultimate control of news flow and clearly know what they have here. With drilling news in July, i sense big positive news very soon. The sp has been battered down due to uncertainty and lack of solid project news. That is due to change to our benefit over the coming weeks/months

Had a quick look at the slides. All things moving forward with imminent drilling results in July, healthy cash balance, formal JV on course by Sept 6th etc etc. So a busy few weeks/months...and with a shareprice at rock bottom....unbelievable....

Clearly the RNS's from today and yesterday have been issued strategically by OMI. Today's RNS is positive and good for Brad going into today's meeting. This will be good for new investors to see some positives finally. I guess it may appease some existing shareholders though we have been through the mill for some time now. With drilling news due in July, i would expect the sp to liven up much more now

The big problem with OMI has been the market/people have always focused on the negatives and fail to see the positives. Apta was always the first area to be assessed due to ease of access but the big results will come from the other projects which are now being drilled with some results due very soon in July. As usual the MMs batter the sp down but clearly there are now way more buys than sells so we should really be in the blue imo. I suspect the sp will gain strength over the coming days and weeks. The sp is at below bargain basement prices imo.
