Phase 2 now confirmed...let the bigger news roll in. Hopefully Brad has negotiated better news flow for us shareholders. Either way With Phase 2 going ahead, that signifies that Newmont/Agnico like what they see which will be good for the sp going forward in a big way. I suspect those warrants at 25.5p will get exercised before they expire.

Looks like OMI got things moving to get Phase 2 officially launched...a very positive signal. Also now gives the green light for bigger investors to get on bored.

Confirmation of Phase 2 gives certainty to the market....very positive...I expect bigger investors to move in now with this certainty....Phase 2 shows that Newmont/Agnico are very confident about what the resource is worth...excellent news.

It is very clear that Brad had the drill results before yesterday imo but could not divulge them until yesterday. We really do need to be in a position to be made aware more of results etc in a more frequent and timely manner. I understand Angico want to keep the drill results more secretive due to the competition etc as such but as shareholders we also need to be considered as we have invested in OMI for this project and this is something Brad has to make clear to Agnico. Part of the reason for the poor sp has been lack of visible news...Phase 2 is a given....so come on Brad have some consideration for shareholders...rant over

A sensible strategy Impecunious2, I was thinking the sp could go lower possibly as it always seems to after some good news...typical OMI behaviour, however since we have more positives in play now and a lot of uncertainty has gone, i did not want to risk waiting for the sp to go much lower...as it may not... either way the trend is on the up imo

Did not really expect such a high drop today. However the sp did not fall below the last peak of the 31st August at 13.8p so good from a technical basis. I think the MMs are still able to scare people and get sells when required despite the positives from yesterday. Either way many have sold today so some of the froth has been removed. I even sold a few but bought them back near the close of play...lol. Just thinking today was a day for the MMs to collect some shares ready for the next leg up.

Phase 2 is assumed now imo, the drill results, the webinar and the fact the Newmont/Agnico are continuing with their operations says it all. We also await a re-assessment of some drill results which are looking very good. So really we know this is big and so do Newmont/Agnico. The sp is still very low and at the mercy of the MMs but there is way more clarity and confidence going forward now. The sp will just keep moving up now imo whilst the MMs play their games to get more shares to sell at higher levels.

With drill results and the Webinar now out, i would say there are so many visible positives and no doubt that OMI is going to move up the gears now. Any uncertainty has gone imo. I think the uncertainty was definitely killing the sp but we now know big things are coming to OMI. The sp is way undervalued.

Phase 2 is as good as confirmed by the actions of Newmont/Agnico, Great results from Pepas, Brad can't buy shares due to being constantly in the know but he does get compensated by having options so fair enough imo, Newmont see this as one of their best projects or words to that effect, hopefully we should get more info on a timely basis....just a few points i picked up. All in all, Newmont/Agnico going ahead with Phase 2 says it all. OMI now in a much more solid footing going forward.

The sp has been surpressed for so long but now we see amazing drilling results and Phase 2 virtually guaranteed, so with such visibility the sp will have a lot more strength going forward. This is just the start of the re rate. With such a small float of shares. the MMs will try to grab shares where they can but the trend is definitely now to the upside in a big way. Could see a big squeeze upwards in the sp any time now imo

The MM's took full advantage of shareholders yesterday and managed to collect a few shares in the manipulated drop yesterday. Demand for shares will be very strong with what we know now. Now we have a very strong RNS showing some amazing drill results...the cat is now out of the bag and the re rate will begin in a big way imo. Phase 2 is now a given and we should get more results etc in a more timely fashion imo. Looking forward to the Webinar tonight.

I think many are very cautious about Brad and nervous about tomorrow hence the drop in the sp in the latter part of the day. And this played into the hands of the MMs who quickly dropped the price and collected alot of shares ready for tomorrow imo. I would expect a 7am RNS confirming the go ahead with Phase 2 at the very least. This would clearly lead to a good subsequent Webinar. Hopefully some good drill results will also be released but Phase 2 in itself will be a big positive to show Newmont/Agnico like what they see and are happy to move up the gears.

Agree PortfolioPower, The MMs have taken full advangate to drop the sp to get sells, maybe even triggered some stop losses. Expecting a good solid RNS tomorrow so just holding tight

With Canada closed today, clearly no RNS was coming today...so tomorrow it is and of course Webinar tomorrow evening...all planned out for Brad to finally give us some big positives.

So with Toronto being closed Monday, a Tuesday RNS seems very likely....very timely for Brad who favours Tuesdays for RNSs and just in time for the webinar.....Monday the last day to get in before big news it would seem then.

The MMs are very skillful at wrong footing investors however company changing news is almost here and it will have a fundamental positive change with the dynamics here. So this is not the usual buy the rumour/sell the news scenario imo but it has given the MMs a good opportunity to scoop up shares for the main event imo. With Phase 2 signed and sealed, i feel much more solid news will be released going forward and there will be greater demand for shares from bigger investors. Phase 2 will demonstrate that Newmont/Agnico are very happy with their investment and this will be a big positive signal to the market.

Getting so close now. News must be piling up and just a few more days before the Webinar. News could drop anytime now so i also expect more action here with volume picking up very soon. Phase 2 almost upon us now

Good post PortfolioPower...I sold out of GGP around 4 years ago around 1p not long after Newmont walked away from the Earnest Giles project assessment. I sold out of GGP thinking all was lost and lived to regret it with their subsequent rise to the high 30s. So now another bite of the cherry with OMI is now almost upon us. Phase 2 is almost signed and sealed and with that the sp will move up by many multiples imo. GGP from 1p to the high 30s so where will OMI go????

Just topped up 13,500 shares at 11.71p below mid price. Just shows how the MMs can muddy the waters for buys/sells. Way too much good news in a very short time due now imo
