Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The problem with Chariot is they have a history of not doing what they said they would, when they said they would. I will keep an eye on Chariot and could accumulate again but for now focused on another holding I have. Not going to cross ramp it here.
Why isn't he on the board do we think? To avoid having to do an RNS in November? Probably not imo. Looks like he is French speaking, very little I can find about the guy on Google. I think we need the smoking gun news article where it leaks that Zanaga is being developed and the RoC government are on board etc. Sp Angel did a research update yesterday on ZIOC but it was poor, they didn't even mention AD Ports. In short we could Google all day and find nothing, something big is afoot and hopefully we will find out more at the AGM.
From a simplistic view, the only way I see a buyout is if the Nguesso family get something from it. Near term, I think the next news is going to finally wake up the wider market to the reality that Zanaga WILL be developed. Our share price is still based on the mine being considered a dormant asset. We must be looking at over 50p once Zanaga is considered a live project again.
To clarify though, in the region of 200p per share is what I think ZIOC may end up being sold for and I still think Japan might surprise us all. They don't want to rely on China and may well start the bidding war we all want imo.
My wife insists a Mustang is better than a Porsche. Not sure I agree. 50p wouldn't be a disaster, I'd take it and move forward. This will be my last AIM share, not convinced the UK market and AIM in particular offer the rewards and investment longevity that was there in the past. AIM is for short term gambles and the main market doesn't seem to achieve fair valuations for many companies.
MM there is an article on the FT today about Saudi and China getting closer.

Shows Zanaga needed by China as well as Simandou
Haha you can see who lost a chunk on Chariot and is desperate for no sp increase. Get a few funds buying in and blow the bulletin board warriors away. It's a great RNS and has given much more certainty going forward. I will put my money where my mouth is and buy some more after breakfast.
On a serious note, I just read an article whereby Rio Tinto claim Simandou is probably the best quality iron ore on the planet....not sure that is true.
Is he from Brazzaville?
