And they were all processed at 3p or higher when the market quote was 2.8 - 2.9.
So approx 8mn shares bought above the market.
Indeed loads of buying going on now, tree shake over
I see just the one 20mn sale in the course of sales list ... how do you get 2 X 20mn?
If you look at the history of AEG RNS releases it has always been bad news on a Friday and good news on a Monday.
I would expect something Monday ... but of course I am only guessing
Correction it has just appeared
Is this RNS new? It doesn't appear on my LSE.co.uk AEG page under the "Live RNS" heading.
Ok I found it ... Go to this link and then halfway down you will find it on the right with its own little graph od the SP movement http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/markets/article-5840599/MARKET-REPORT-World-Cup-woes-adding-gloom-newspaper-distributor-Connect-Group.html
Do you have a link I can't find it
It should do at some point but it is still and MOU and not the final deal. Having said that 5mn Ha will make AEG the world's 2nd biggest forestry group as far as I can tell and most of the big forestry guys are mkt capped in the billions. Expect some volatility either way although I must admit I would be inclined to hold until the deal is finalised either way there far more upside than downside on this news.
MMs being sneaks b******s putting all those buys from the 11th through today pre-market. Surely there are regulations supporting an orderly market in place - which this certainly isn't
Shares have votes and loan notes don't.
Indeed Whitewolf_118, the job title is a bit of a clue ... director of Timberlands International (Newfoundland & Labrador) Inc. ... not just Newfoundland, Labrador's publicly owned forests are huge as this link explains ... is there more hectarage in the pipeline than we expect? https://www.sfmcanada.org/images/Publications/EN/NL_info_Provinces_and_territories_EN.pdf
The price of coalswitch is not really confirmed yet as there are currently no long term supply agreements in place. I have been using approx US$160 per tonne using wood chips as a comparison although CoalSwitch has so many advantages to boring old wood chips that a hefty premium to wood chips should apply to CoalSwitch once things get going. Also add in the soil additive aspect as demonstrated by YLF and you might find the profitability of a CoalSwitch plant to be more than expected.
Looking good this morning ... plenty of bids not many sells
Also Poland is Coal Central in Europe, if Polish interests have given CoalSwitch the seal of approval along with Mr Buffet's Rocky Mountain Power then it should be good enough for everyone
Best thing to do when waiting for company making good news is to make sure you have RNS messages delivered to your mobile and then look away while markets are open. Check the closing price each day after 16:30 ... far less stress that way.
woodchip goes for approx $160 per tonne so a fair price for coalswitch would be in the $180 - $200 per tonne although as no LT deals have been signed no one knows what the sale price of coalswitch is. I have kept a close eye on the projected numbers for coalswitch and have never seen $2,000 per tonne quoted so it would be great of you could share a link in case I have missed anything. I am using $180 per tonne for my own spreadsheets and forecasts ... even at $180 the numbers look excellent
Just out of interest where do you get the $2,000 per tonne figure for coalswitch?
No
They seem to be delaying posting the completed buys making it look like mainly sells are going through. You only do that when you are looking for stock
