I've sold out at a wee !150% profit. Cant find any news and am very sceptical. This is exactly what happened to AXE a few weeks ago just prior to them going into Admin. Not getting caught out again. I sincerely hope its not for all who remain. VGL.

Whats going on here? I cant find any news thats prompted this level of gain. Anyone any idea??

Following is email I received today from AXE re this crap.. I refer to your emails yesterday regarding information on the administration of Axeon Holdings plc. The company was placed into administration by Ironshield, our debt provider. The administrators who were appointed were Grant Thornton 30 Finsbury Square London EC2P 2YU The contact who can provide answers to any queries that you have is a Russell Simpson who can be contacted at Russell.simpson@gtuk.com I am sorry that we cannot be more helpful but the company do not have the information to answer your questions. I have to say that the headline and following story in todays Times makes me smile NOT !.. I do promise that this will be my last rant today on this, the pills should kick in anytime now.. "Deal of the day Axeon, which makes lithium-ion batteries, has been bought out of administration in a prepack deal by AG Holding, a new vehicle led by Ironshield Capital, its largest shareholder. The deal will secure hundreds of jobs in the UK and Europe. Shares in the Dundee-based company rose 3.13p to 12p before they were suspended. " Deal of the day ? Who for?

I know posting cross boards is not the done thing, however I found this on the iii board... Well, having been a lurker on these boards for many years I am finally moved to post by the seemingly shoddy corporate actions taken today by Axeon et al. If you want to know how you have just been relieved of your holding in this company (only £1,000 for me but it still hurts!) and think that there might be grounds for complaint (particulalrly inview of a new statement of insolvancy practice (SIP) which came into force on 1st Jan 2009 do have a look at: http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/howtocomplain/complainprepack.htm Anyone else think it's worth making a formal complaint? I will be contacting them tomorrow. I will also never buy another Lithium battery and will buy all my veg from Egypyt and stuff my carbon footprint.

The chronology as far as I read is as follows. 2nd April RNS ...continues to enjoy support of its lender. 6th April Ironshield transfers 14.79% of holding to another entity 14th April AG Holdings Ltd is incorporated at Companies House 15th April SP begins to rise to its eventual resting place 20th April Administration minutes later sold to the company founded on 14th April. 5pm 14th April announcement that the shareholders are unlikely to make any recovery I think I'll buy the companies house report for AG Holdings Ltd. I didn't have a massive holding, and I wont lose my house or an awful lot of sleep, I just hate it when your turned over by something that seems down right contrived, underhand and dishonest.

While I agree with some of your comments, I have to say that I am not at all comforted to lose my equity signalling that their is potential in the sector. I think we all know about the long term significance of this sector, frankly I'm more concerned with the here and now and what happens to my investment. Yes I know that by investing we accept the risks and if the company had simply gone under then that is something you have to just accept. What I'm having difficulty accepting is that their is something distinctly underhand going on here.

On website The Board of Axeon Holdings plc ("Axeon") announces that Malcolm Shierson and David Dunckley of Grant Thornton UK LLP have today been appointed as administrators to the Company by its principal lender. As a result, the Company's ordinary shares have been suspended from trading on AIM with immediate effect. A further announcement will be made when appropriate.
