Yawn
A tight hole means that they intend to not release any information druring the drill to keep all information about the drill top secret.
Also does anyone know the expected time to drill to the first target on West Newton? I believe from research that the first target is 2000m deep so my rough guess for that would be about 4 weeks depending on the drill and geo of course.
GeenDave - Maybe because all the chat has been irrelevant **** and nothing to do with the drill but just school yard bickering lol
On other matters I've been looking and can't seem to find an expected spud date for West Newton other than Q1 - has anyone got a more refined date?
It doesn't matter what you post over the weekend as it won't count for anything, you can't influence anything between now and 7am Monday morning if that RNS comes in so just a waste of time.
Fingers crossed for a positive outcome and everyone makes some money.
I'd prefer a Monday morning RNS if one is coming as Friday post trading RSN's aren't usually good ones plus if it's Monday morning there's a full day of exposure to start off a really good rally.
GreenDave - realistically what you looking SP to be at if the RNS is positive and on target with expectations? 0.20p?
But I'm happy if it can hold at .13 or above.
-Funding required for the 4 well program
-ELM they are worried about water and so need to come up with a plan to isolate the fractures before it can be fracas thats if they do it at all
-SpringHill - Nothing happening there, they are not going back to it
-3D - struggling with wind as noise is interfering with the sensors and so can only work at night so may take longer than expected
- Drilling won't be until the end of the year
Basically nothing to look forward to that could improve the SP for about a year.
When this Q&A session starts to be circulated the SP will probably drop to 4p
What a Fooking disaster
SpringHill is out of the picture completely
Wait out to see if they can formulate a plan to stimulate EML 1004 as they are worried about water
I'm not being funny but everyone if flapping about £11.5k worth of trades that have gone through the books today which is laughable, if we get a good RNS I want that going through the book in the first 5 mins. MM are playing with the bid offer and people are letting a few shares go cheap - thats it.
Look at the volume and if we are hitting 200M worth going through the book in an hour you know something is coming.
Quite crazy that a company of this size can have 4.08% of it's SP dropped with only £8571.50 worth of trades lol
Hopefully the last tree shake before the result we have been waiting for.
The SP walked all the way down with £500 trades. Whats the betting there will be a large buy shortly before the talk with the team.
Normally a drill would be a 24/7 operation.
Well another day with no RNS my guess is they must be logging or I'm sure we would have had TD by now.
All very quiet on here and Twitter which suggests that this is a very tight hole and no one has a clue what's happening at the moment.
It's a waiting game but with no rumours it should mean it's going to be explosive when the news does come out, fingers crossed the RNS starts with "We are pleased to announce"
Fingers crossed we have a pull back from yesterdays drop and recover some of those loses, opening is looking okay at the moment and then maybe get some answers from "Time with the team" as to where the plan is going forward.
I should of also mentioned that it's not until flow testing has been done that they can give the full results of the well and then a new updated CPR can be given - the CPR could take a further month or so after full well results have been given.
The CPR obviously being important as this is an external confirmation of what has been found and the larger II & HNW investors like it in black and white before committing large amounts of money.
SunGod - it depends on what you are referring to when you keep using the word "Testing"??
Fist after TD they need to do wireline logging which is normally takes a couple of days post TD. The company can then give initial findings.
The "Testing" is then carried out either "Flow Testing" or if they want "Extended Well Testing" This could be done over a two to three week period until they are happy with the flow rates or with EWT it could be over a prolonged period even months if they want to flow test then wait to see if pressure is reproduced.
