The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
The Rampion wind farm on the south coast has been shut down for several weeks. for repairs. Apparently a fault on the high voltage electrical distribution system. These things happen. Back up systems will be important in future whatever.
Many thanks to all posters for their very comprehensive updates and thoughts. I did attend but was suffering from echo problems and missed quite a lot of info. Maybe time for that deaf aid?!
I felt all systems were at last coming together, and thought the board members showed an air of confident anticipation.
Looking forward to the future. GLA
Lets hope local authorities decide to sell their fossil fuel pension fund investments in favour of green stocks. Their is a lot of pressure building up to persuade them to do it. Even the ECB. have decided to phase out investment in fossil fuels. That's half a trillion euros. Come on UK. get your environmental credentials in order.
I like the use in data centres. Most of these are sited in out of the way places in quiet extensive grounds. Their power requirements are huge and growing. As we know there is some very big players involved. Power loss is not in their remit.
This looks like a possible game changer for H2 supply. Looks like the jigsaw is being put together.

Had a great day some years ago driving an Aston Martin and a Ferrari around Dunsfold track. Her is hoping if I get to attend, if the fuel cell works and the Beamer is fully charged, we all get a chance for a spin.
Failing that, this should be a very positive spin on just where we are : manufacturing timelines, scaling up of any orders, further news on potential orders for all our future products. The OEM connection looks interesting, if we have a winning product its just a matter of time...…..
As I understand the latest regulations, shareholders only require 5% holdings to request the directors to call an Egm.
S.I.2009/1632,Reg4(2) Section303-304.
Not suggesting this is the best way to engage with the company, imminent news, may not require this. But we do have a basis to contact the directors to discuss current concerns. Thanks again chippyjo for your work.
Please correct me on this, if legislation has changed.
I happened to be passing through Alnwick last week, and was pleased to see a Northern bear board on the Playhouse refurb. in the high street. Think its a 3.3 mil project, not sure of Ntbr's share of it, but good to see. I wont be selling, having watched them claw back debt over the years with a lot of hard work, to now paying a dividend. I think the pressure on BP and others is beginning to bite. The AGM was an eye opener, the institutional shareholders forced the company to push for a green future. More Hydrogen please.

Encouraging development in parallel with Hydrogen sources. A lot of info on The Ammonia energy site.

May have been said already, but AB also mentioned that they were discussing confidentially with some companies with new and cheaper hydrogen production techniques. He seemed quite enthusiastic about it, so lets hope all these leads come together soon and get us some world beating products.
I jotted down a few points of interest today and will add these later if not on the chat, when deciphered.
I spoke to Adam after the meeting and asked if AFC would be improving their response to investors emails. The issue of information disclosure sensitivity was his main concern, rightly so, and the sheer volume that he/they receive.
I said that I felt this shouldn't prevent a neutral info and or a reassuring reply to shareholders.
As the subject of communication at the moment is a sore point, there must be a format in place to smooth investors concerns. The subject of non disclosure is in their remit, so please AFC treat your shareholders as colleagues.
Hopefully the promised new website will provide some answers and more detailed updated information as well.
I think we are all disappointed by the standard of info/PR coming out of AFC. Questions need to be asked at the Agm.
The climate emergency news has even trumped Brexit recently, and this can only be good for AFC.
Maybe We could have a stand at the upcoming London Climate Action Week 1-8 July.
The move came as the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, this week revealed further plans for the first London Climate Action Week, which will focus on a range of topics including business action, clean energy, climate finance, science and education, global collaboration, media and communication, and resilience and risk management.
Set to take place between 1-8 July, the week-long series of events is aimed at bringing expertise together to scale up practical solutions as well as identifying new solutions to help cut carbon emissions and maintain temperature increases to within 1.5C, in line with the Paris Agreement.
The Mayor is also calling on individuals, business, and other organisations to propose events for the week of action. "We want partner organisations to showcase how practical climate solutions can be scaled up on a city-wide, if not world-wide level," the Mayor's office said.
Maybe AB could invite their local MPs Jeremy Hunt and Michael Gove and have a beer and a chat!
