I was very disillusioned with pensions in the late 90s my retirement fund was estimated to be over 2 mill, then the pension company's where reeled in to quote realistic figures and after the internet bubble burst my pension was wort jack shit, a rip of from the start.

I then closed all pensions.

I am 55 and dabbled in shares for over 30 years I will make sure I get the full retirement allowance due me and use my £11500 tax free on dealings and take £20000 a year from my ISA stuff paying taxes

Serenus, I had ASOS many years back when I believe their was a oil refinery fire on the site and it burnt the ASOS wearhouse down it was near Christmas but I hung on as it would recover from insurance pay out.
