Hi LT
GVPR Engineers is interesting as they presently have an employee called Sudipto Mitra who has been the Vice President - Head of Smart Metering at GVPR Engineers Ltd for over a year.
Previous to this he was employed by Cyan as Vice President Projects and rather interestingly while employed by GVPR he reposted a link to the Cyan recruitment page !

Just seen a TV advert for the New No. 7 skin " Future Renew" cream that...
"The peptide technology in Future Renew is game-changing. 80% of skin damage is caused by the sun, and Future Renew is now clinically proven to reverse visible signs of sun damage, including pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles.
Based on research where
"No7 Future Renew, results get better over time**
97% of women using No7 Future Renew Serum had a reversal in the appearance of multiple signs of skin damage***. One sold every two seconds on day of launch "
Retails at under £40 a bottle.
Am i correct in thinking that this no 7 product will be a direct competitor as its for retail , not prescription.
The reviews are not that impressive IMO but he price point is much cheaper than INCs £100 retail, if this retail price is correct.
I was under the impression that there was no competitor , that had research behind it and was proven to protect form the sun etc .

Hi Tony, even to me my numbers look very fanciful and i find them difficult to believe but if Cyan just keep a respectful win rate of say 20% or 25 % throughout this process , then nothing else will really matter , delays, hold ups , elections, missing installation targets ...nothing will matter as Cyans Install rate and revenues build.
Hi LT and Tony.
Thanks for the NSGM update
"The installations so far this month stand at 4,24,010 ( 424,010 ) smart meters and the overall number of smart meters installed now standing at 1,08,40,249 ( 10,840,249 )."
As we know ALL ordered / deployed smart meters , also become installed meters and in April Zeus released end of Year 24 note stating Cyan had so far a 25% share in meters so far ordered in India.
So , in theory going by todays numbers this would give Cyan an average of approx. 100,000 smart meters installed per month (out of total this month of 424,010 ) with associated up front revenues. With over 250 million meters required , even if we took just 150 million meters installed before target date this gives approx. 37 million smart meters to Cyan, and with a gross monthly install rate of around 8 million, of which 25% which is 2 million units a month could go to Cyan so to hit the Dec 25 deadline.
So at some stage their needs to be at least a 20 x ramp up on meters ordered and deployed for installation. GL Vas
Approx. 3 months ago Genus Infrastructure posted the link below on Linkedin under the title "Transforming Cities into Smart Living Ecosystem 🌟 "

There is an advert with three smart meters on it entitled "Energising Lives with Smart Meter Solutions".
If you look at the picture on the far left. Copy picture, put it in a word document and zoom in you will see that this meter states on it #
GENUS
InteLilog
LORAWAN RF
" Genus Power Infrastructure Ltd, India"
I do realise that the Cyan contract with Genus was for Omnimesh RF but Omnimesh Supports the management of LORA, can't it? Does anyone here know if there is enough information here to ascertain whether this is a Cyan meter or another company. The advert is only 3 months old ! Cheers Vas
General news on industry developments or even just journalistic comments on the RDSS rollout are impossible to find at present ! Very unusual , when you think we are now in such a sensitive period and on the cusp of what we have been informed will be a fertile news period for sub contractors such as Cyan and others.
Absolutely no news on our competitors either, which I find the most reassuring as this means the silence we are hearing is not related to Cyan but the entire industry at this time.
Its not hard to imagine that India may have banned all news and comments around specific politically sensitive issues such as regional energy etc, while the voting process is taking place but you would expect to find some reference in the Indian news that it has actually been agreed, and is actually being applied.
Something regarding Genus here. I noted this new company is based in the State of Rajasthan, India - not as if that means they will supply Rajasthan, i guess - but with approx. 16 million customer meters to be supplied in just Rajasthan, and Cyan's previous success in Rajasthan, lets hope that GENUS ALFA SMART METERING PRIVATE LIMITED, will also be manufacturing Cyan solutions. I do not see these events as linear, live events unfolding in front of our eyes as we move forward in our lives - but I have come to see them as planned and orchestrated events, that are fed to their Investors as if happening live, and really we are just getting episodes of the catch up TV, a version version of events that have been planned and discussed for months.
You know as well as I, that this, just as a wrestling match is most likely already fixed, and been planned for months , risk assessed and whatever happens , ultimately the PIs and innocents will pay the price, literally.
There are some very wealthy, connected, some may say untrustworthy characters in and around the inner circle here, and unfortunately with mutiny taking place on the deck of the good ship Chill, has Callum now gagged, sitting on top of the PIs wealth in the ships brig and under investigation for what ????, its unknown - but you can bet its going to be substantial, as this allegation on Callum needs to be so, to keep him down in the hold , gagged. so he is unable to be involved in the main fight on the top deck .
This is a strategically planned mutiny and I would not trust any of the players involved here to be honest, and as far as Callum goes he seems the most decent , hardworking and honest but do not underestimate the allegations, and how long it can take to investigate, and there is always the possibility that there is some substance to them that we know nothing about.

I was looking into the connection between BIS and Cyan to see if i could find anything and came across this interview with Mr. Aniruddha Shahapure, presently COO at Cyan and once "held prominent positions with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) (India) and served as the Technical Committee Chairman at KEBS- Bureau Standards (Kenya)".

Yes, it makes sense, but CC in all Genus meters unlikely IMO.
But then i know nothing really.
There is a lot of movement within Genus since Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd (Genus Power)signed a definitive agreement with Gem View Investment, an affiliate of GIC, Singapore to set up a platform for undertaking advanced metering infrastructure service provider concessions.
GIC will hold a 74 per cent stake while Genus will hold a 26 per cent stake in the platform, the company said in a BSE filing.
I wonder if certain partnerships, assets whatever are being transferred form Genus to GIC. Just a thought. no evidence.

I found this paragraph in the Capital Planning Update section of the Council of Governors Meeting in public
Monday 22 April 2024
"We will also have two centrally funded programmes in this new financial year – our
Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) new build £6.7m and the Electronic Patient
Record programme (EPR) £3.9m. "
it would be helpful to find a breakdown on how the £6.7 new build money will be allocated.

Hi Tony , according to the Genus Power Infrastructures Earnings Call for Q3FY24, published in Mid Feb 24 ( you can skim read the transcript or listen in on it)

1:38
activities including necessary approvals negotiation of contract and logistic Arrangements we strive to diligently
1:45
attend to every detail to guarantee a seamless and successful execution process the execution Pro Cycle of the
1:53
current order book is about 27 to 30 months thus it provides healthy visibility of our Top Line growth
2:00
particularly for FY 25 and 26 numerous State electricity boards
2:05
have commenced the bidding process to procure Smart Meters underscoring the positive impact of the reforms etc "
The only fact we know is that the conservative 9 month period mentioned here by Genus, takes us back to June 23..........
it was only after June 23 most of the wards to the AMISPS was made and the second fact we know is that up until Today, there has not been any sign of a up tick in awards to the subcontractors - so I think I am safe in saying that the game has not yet began, and the successful company's who will win awards form Genus and others is yet to be announced.
And every week that passes brings the start date of awards even closer.
The majority of the awards made this past nine months must surely be released in the next 2-4 months , probably wrapped up with many other massive national infrastructure investments as part of the celebration to commemorate yet another Modi government win . Gl Vas

Hi Lt,
Thanks for that correction - i find it strange why they fail to date certain articles.
This make sense though as if this had been a new AMISP award it would have been the first one for ages.
