Your both welcome.
I also noticed that DGVCL in Surat, South Gujarat had some news out yesterday, a subsidiary of IntelliSmart Infrastructure who have a 3 million meter agreement / draw down agreement with Cyan which form memory has less than 50% to go, and as DGVCL took 300,000 last October 23 may well need some more soon ........so with DGVCL implementation starting Q3 24, they may well need some more sometime , hopefully.
"The South Gujarat power company, DGVCL, is investing a total of INR 2636.24 crores in this project. In the initial phases, 17.73 lakh meters in homes, government offices, and transformers will be installed, followed by an additional 23.89 lakh meters in the second phase, bringing the total to over 40 lakh smart meters."

The five bidders for PFCCL in question are:
Gemstar Infra India Pvt Ltd
HPL Electric & Power Ltd
Apraava Energy Pvt Ltd in consortium with BCITS Pvt Ltd
Ramalingam Construction Company Pvt Ltd in consortium with Iskraemeco India Pvt Ltd
Sai Computers Ltd in consortium with Analogics Tech India Pvt Ltd
I notice that Gemstar Infra India Pvt Ltd was set up in 2022 and looks to be a a subsidiary of Genus Power.

Here is one for you LT.
The Financial bids were scheduled to open January 25, 2024, the following day Cyan get a SP lift! Maybe coincidence.

Posted approx. a week ago and giving an interview with an Indian journalists from Branturks!
Either i am going deaf, or the sound is poor - so have to listen closely in places. I am not sure if there is anything particularly interesting or new as had trouble hearing full interview.

Morning LT and All,
I notice that the Esyasoft & Adani Energy Solutions Limited JV is progressing through its wholly owned subsidiary, Adani Transmission Step-Four Limited.
The most recent information I can find states ..
"As part of the transaction, EHL Esyasoft) will license its IP (intellectual property) portfolio to the JV Company, for deployment by AESL (and its affiliates) in smart metering projects in India and abroad. The JV company will also undertake future product development through teams in India and elsewhere"
If Adani were interested in licensing Cyan IP for their Indian awards - could this be accessed via Esyasoft ?
https://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx?g=95dbeaeb-0116-4c4b-8035-2638b317d9d6
I found this write up about Adani strangely encouraging even though there is no direct reference to Cyan mentioned.
"Adani Energy Solutions aims to grab a market share of 25 per cent in smart meters taking an integrated approach towards the entire business value chain to retain complete control over the rollout as well as end-user experience."
"To de-risk, we plan to in-source as much as possible. Towards this, we have invested a lot in selecting the right tech partners across the value chain right from the meter manufacturer to HES and MDM (Head End System, Meter Data Management) systems, to telco, to the integration of software vendor, to the cloud hosting service provider, and right up to the consumer app,” he added."
I hope the recent Esyasoft Holdings JV bring good news for Cyan.

Evening LT and all.
I used 10% of market share so as not to tempt fate, and also because its not such a very large stretch from where we currently stand - and the sub contractor awards have not started in earnest yet, as far as i can see.....so if we are all prove
correct in our appraisal of the situation - 10 m should be easily reached and possibly sometime soon . Cheers Vas
Sorry, but here it is.
Assuming in a few months time the 100 million meters that have been awarded to AMISPs, are then ALL awarded onwards to their subcontractors for install and the contracts go live.
The common installation time period seems to be around 27 months ( two years 3 months) in general as in the recent One Million Omnimesh Modules win with Montecarlo. ..so in a few months time ALL the subcontractors will have been given the green light to install 100 m meters in 27 months.
Say, if Cyan get just 10% of this initial 100 million meter first tranche, which would be 10 million meters to install in 27 months. We already have approx. 6 million units to be installed - so 4 million over next few months .
At a unit price of say $12 each ..with $7 being paid per unit in first 27 months and remaining $5 over remaining eight years or so at $1.5 a year .for maintenance etc . if this were to happen per contract this would give Cyan approx. a $70 million revenue windfall up front / during the 27 month implementation period as units are delivered. Plus another $50 m over remaining 7 years maintenance contract ( $ 7 .5 . million per year after 27 months for 7/8 years)..
Averages out at approx. $2.5 m per month to Cyan for the 27 months installation period.
The actual physical installation rate in peoples homes per month would need to be 330 ,000 per month which sounds a lot of deployments.
Is this correct? Is my thinking correct. Happy to be corrected. If Cyan win at least another 4 million units in India over next 3-6 months then with the 6 million units already won they will have a total of 10 m metres needing to be manufactured, delivered and installed in next 27 months.
As we hope for even better news than this. I think even with just a 10% win of the initial 100m meters , the numbers look v. good.
If anything, a great deal depends on the installation numbers, and how much they miss their targets bye - as this will prolong the installation of the first wave, and the second wave of another 150 million meters may go ahead and allocate but not implement until first 100m meters are installed satisfactory.
Therefore, if Cyan do well on first wave and begin installing and also do well on second wave which will be awarded but delayed , then Cyan could be the goose with the golden eggs....just not had time to hatch them....must be attractive proposition for many e specially if with a unified HES, gas, water and RE etc can also be managed at a lower cost per home.
just my thoughts a we await further proper news. GL ALL Vas
A very good find there LT. Thanks You.
I'm sure there is very little doubt this interview is responsible for todays share price and so it should be as its a very bullish interview from someone who seems just as excited about Cyan's prospects as the rest of us. It was good to see.
Cheers Vas
Its good to see
Its a strange share indeed.
Remember, when the company had around 2 Billion 600 million shares , followed by a 1- 200 share consolidation and so today we have around 13 million shares......and the SP behaves exactly the same .
This Panel is discussing HES for AMI.
Interesting comments from Speaker representing TRILLIANT from 3mins in, regarding the increasing importance of RF as HES s develop out to carry gas and water etc meters..

Morning LT and All
I am thinking (hoping) that the majority of the 20 m "strategic partnership" meter award given to Airtel by IntelliSmart will contain CCs technology and be manufactured by several of the Cyan friendly meter manufacturers , including Genus.
As we know IntelliSmart do not manufacture meters.
As far as the Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) award of another 20 m meters to Airtel is concerned - I am under the impression ( can anyone confirm) that ADANI also do not manufacture meters, but install and monitor them.
Therefore, where will Adanai and IntelliSmart purchase their meters from!, considering Adanai' recent made a joint venture with Esyasoft Holdings Ltd.'s smart metering solutions arm, who also partner with Cyan - so possibilities remain there also. GL Vas
It seems to me that this year will be a constant wait for news, then more news as far as awards go to Cyan. However, things are moving fast behind the scenes and we only get a glimpse of some significant development in throw away ( or planted) comments in interviews and presentations.
From what i can see ALL main telecom players in India have been awarded smart meter contracts so far , and in varying quantities. Good chance i have missed some also. I guess there will be plenty more telecom awards as Cellular communication is one of the main pillars of the SM project, along with other solutions such as RF. Its good to reminded ourselves that Cyan also have a cellular solution, could well be involved in these Telecom awards - and have had a solution , as LT has said that has been around for three years or so - probably for this moment in the rollout..

Yes, i hope so too.
Its just that they used the term "replacing the radio frequency (RF) mode site survey.."
Which from my limited understanding is a crucial stage of any RF rollout.
