My understanding is that this route will lower the amount that gets to the Amniocentesis stage...
I too work in the NHS and know the cost of things - people would be both amazed and terrified! £10 for a little plastic syringe set....
Anyway, I digress.
Entry into the NHS is obviously the goal as let's face it, it will be a cash cow and we have already done trials as can be seen by the paperwork previously posted.
However, a vast market already exists outside the NHS and our product would negate the need for the tests to be sent abroad, knock 12 days of the time frame, sharpen their pencil from a financial point of view, improve result accuracy and will radically improve the set up of the existing testing model out there.
If company A buy in to the new process and company B don't then company B will be left behind......
