As resident expert on all things lithium, how do you think this compares with the best lithium batteries? There are so many attributes to compare. Power density, recharge times, life of battery, cost, cost per kwh etc. I guess each battery type has advantages/disadvantages versus the others.

I was surprised that it was Northvolt that developed it. Any thoughts?

BP Isn't it a lot more complicated than that?

Cash now is worth more than cash later. ANGS's DCF models must use quite a high discount rate as its cost of capital is high.

Quite apart from that, the price of gas moves up and down and is likely to be a lot higher in the Winter - coming up.

So on two counts there must be strong temptation to up the output now at the cost of lower output later.

If the discount rate is say 15% and gas is say 20% higher now than in 6 months time the extra value now (35+%) may be a lot higher than the expected cost of increased condensates later. You would know -and I wouldn't- what the cost of higher levels of condensates might be, so it would be interesting to hear your response.

Shocking! Its enough to make one wonder if there is a conspiracy to stop the mine re-opening.

Statera appears to have experienced very strong revenue and profits growth. Perhaps it got to the limit of its borrowing capabilities without further equity funding? (Debt to Equity around 10x.)

Statera appears different to IES in that it owns / operates the equipment rather than manufactures /sells.

We are all waiting for the EA and Council to decide whether the plant can operate and whether sufficient lorries can access the site. Clearly TUN offers the best source of a critical metal for the Western world, so it is surprising that it is taking so long to resolve these two issues.

The outcome(s) of the feasibility study will be another focus. The recent increase in JORC resources can be used to model extended mine life or an increase in throughput, both of which are positive for the project NPV.

Looks very encouraging. I hope they can avoid dealing with the UKIB

Given the ANGS's financing costs are extremely high, would it not make more sense to sell the 25% stake in Balcombe and pay down some debt?

Good to see VBR out in force at South Crofty today. Sir Mick gave an enthusing speech and pressed the "official start" button for the de-watering plant. It them poured with rain! Good to hear that unofficially it has been de-watering for some time now. The feasibility study is progressing well and two rigs are drilling on the 9km exploration programme South of Carn Brea.
