I understand the military demand was about 8% of total demand, and that was before the Iran war broke out. So I think you should be thinking of a global increase in demand of around 30 to 40%. Given the Chinese (responsible for about 80% of total global supply ) are controlling/stopping exports and have started importing tungsten scrap, the RoW is scratching around for the left over crumbs. Hence the 8-10 times rise in price over the last 14 months.

The "Orphan period" (when a company is seeking the cash to both prove up its resources from inferred to indicated and to complete its PFS and DFS could be much shorter than expected. The arrival of a rumoured billionaire as a shareholder and presence on the DIC (Defense Industry consortium) could allow for funding time to be short circuited.

The value created by such a move is huge and the risk reduction also large.

If for £1.7m of drilling, SML can find several billion dollars worth of resources in one small area, imagine what they may find in the rest of their target rich exploration area. They have so far only announced an MRE for Redmoor, but there is a very promising area to the East of their rights area ESE of Kit Hill. It is a case of watch this space. It has been proven in the past near surface and now there is the ability to go deeper ..................

During the presentation MB mentioned the shares were currently trading at between 6% and 12% of upper case and base case NPVs.

I would have thought a 20-25% factor would be appropriate for a UK based company at this stage. What do others think?

What more could you ask for?

I am hoping that Dennis and the exploration team will do it again. i.e. with another small amount of exploration funding, £1m-£2m, go to another part of their mineral rights exploration area and pull off another multi-billion find. It is entirely possible. SML has a large exploration area available to drill. The other side of Kit Hill perhaps, near the B3257. Or an area within the recently acquired mineral rights from the Duchy. See page 14 of the investor presentation

After all they would not have bought the rights to the exploration areas if they were not going to explore them.

Given the low level of capex needed to get into production and the very high IRR, let us hope that SML gets funding from UK investors and can keep Redmoor as a UK strategic asset rather than going to the US for an offtake deal. No doubt full speed ahead will continue... 11am should be a party!

Think you are right. Good point. It would do no harm and add value if the inferred resources were boosted. I wondered what they might find on the NE side.

We may hear something or get an idea as to whether that is possible / being considered tomorrow or Friday.
