I'm thinking you were probably quite senior in the Irish civil service (I'm assuming they have one)? Probably in the overseas development department (hahaha).
NI spending per capita is quite high because weve had to rebuild quite a lot of infastructure, most recently a Derry Court house was given a face lift by a couple of your republican 'colleagues'.
Anyway if we're spending 20k now expect that to double or even triple for a number of years to meet all the new infrastructure needs as a result of the lowering of corporation tax in NI post brexit, people are already describing it as the emerald Hong Kong. I prefer Belfast to Dublin btw its a much better crack & half the price. ATB.
