It`s ok nyforever you just accuse people of whatever you THINK they did and whoever you THINK they are. Hope your not a police officer. By the way no apology to myself needed but i notice you were not big enough to apologise for accusing the wrong person of sending unsolicited mail to shareholders
What was it he used to post. `In Graham we trust` I hope he`s not ill as i and i`m sure the mass majority on here wish no ill to anyone. However, finishing his posts with that comment was annoying
nyforever i think you mean echo2021 not eatstocks. Some people on this board cannot get anything right. Now their blaming people who have done nothing. wrong at all. Hope you apolgise to eatstocks
Sorry you`re an idiot
pduk = idiot
pduk i was trying to be calm but here it is. Your an idiot. I do know what went on. People like you got greedy. You believed something that was too good to believe. Now you want to blame someone else for your greed. As was stated why are you still harping on about your losses. Your fault take responsibility for your own actions.
Now thats what i know was going on. Again i ask if there was something else enlighten me idiot. Doh
pduk no i did not go to any of the events. Why would i ? I invested in shares to hopefully make a profit not to go to parties or travel abroad to a drill site. If my investment made me £100000 or £200000 that would have made me happy. I`m not into self gratification, look at me i`m a shareholder. I`m not having a go at you but your comment that i have not grasped what went on i find condescending . I know what went on. A snake oil salesman convinced some people they were going to get rich. Greed took over and people invested money they should not have. If something else happened please enlighten me.
Obviously people believed him. He must have been very convincing and ally that with peoples natural desire for more (some call it greed) and you have the potential for tragedy. However, sorry as i am to point out there has been no legal action taken against Parsons. I am not saying he is a honest man and he has obviously taken in the weak willed gullible and greedy people who over invested. For all of the distress stories there must be many who sold after doubling or trebling their money.
norb you are correct oil could hit $200 as azbbza link shows
norb not sure if i am reading your post correctly but are you seriously suggesting that the oil price per barrel will rise to $200
Also i thought we would be signing new gas contracts not new oil contracts but i might be wrong.
I have been the first to be critical and bemoan the SP but we cannot do that at this time. The current SP is not a reflection of the company but more a reflection of world events. However, i can still point out that the lack of communication from the board beggars belief.
eatstocks what the hell has the abbess got to do with it. Why the heas of the abbey and leader of the nuns should br dragged into Echo`s troubles i do not know
Brent crude just about $100 a barrel. We are down 7.25%. Can anyone make sense of that. FTSE down i.25%. Still no updates. All very disconcerting.
azbbza is on his sabbatical in Spain. ranger is off fighting the Ruskies and i`m a changed man or changed poster. It`s all very quiet very quiet indeed.
Totally agree ranger
azbbza well said on both points especially the former involving Ukrain. People are dying there today and as you say God knows where it will end. Hopefully not in escalation. Whilst events in Eastern Europe should have little effect on Echo in South America we all know it will. Event like these reverberate around the world and BP and Shell prices are falling never mind Echo`s. Lets hope your saying i told you so in six months time.
azbbza your correct this cannot be labelled as a ponzi scheme in the true sense of the word. However, the gist of what ranger is saying is that the people running the show are all getting paid and handsomely at that whilst the investors money shows no profit. Yes i know that some investors maybe a lot of them still believe that the SP will multiply substantially but many have been hearing that for a long long time.
Hi ranger yes i`m good thanks. I`m saddened to say i can see no hope for Ukraine. No doubt they will resist bravely but against the might of the bear they have little chance. No one is going to help them militarily with boots on the ground and as i said yesterday sanctions will not shift Putins mind. I did expect oil to increase in price far more than it has but as you say virtually no upward movement in Echo`s SP.
I do wish shareholders/investors well but i just cannot see it happening with this share. I truly believe it has been a vehicle for income for board members and will continue to be so. It`s only my opinion and i might be wrong and hope i am but i think in Feb 2023 we will be in the same place. Even Sounds SP rose today and they are not producing. Echo are so why no increase in the share price. Anyway i`m knocking the lap top off now and looking forward to a night of football.
ranger just to be clear i do not think they are holding out for a better price. That sort of action is the preserve of companies that can afford to do it. Echo have debts as well as day to day running costs. Selling the product now at already inflated contracts would, in my opinion be a more sensible course of action. You can then pay of some of the debt thus lowering interest payments. This idea that they are leaving it in the ground for a better price makes no sense to me.
I`m with you and i think it`s a ruse to cover lower than expected results. Still i`m going to try and be a politer poster and just state my opinion without derogatory remarks to other posters. All opinions are after all just that, opinions.
Enjoy .
azbbza whilst the point you make is certainly feasible i cannot see how it can be factual. I am sure you would agree that the current price is much higher than we would have entered into our future profit projections. What you are now suggesting is that MH is going to gamble with that certainty of a much higher profit for an even bigger one with the knowledge that prices will fall eventually. As i said i just cannot see it that way. All the experience in the world counts for nothing in this situation is the East of Europe as most politicians will attest to
As i said feasible but too risky for a credible CEO surely. As stated Echo need to produce as much revenue as possible NOW not gamble on future prices. Anyway i could be wrong so we will have to see.
