The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
I don’t care for the rampers (to some degree) because at least they’re going in the right direction.
What do you not understand Guy?
Yes, they annoy me but I’d much rather see positive than unnecessary negative. No brainer
You really do need to take stock on what’s going on here.
From what I see, going with the premise you did actually buy shares in this company was that you took a “punt” and chased a rainbow and you bought in at a higher end price. If I recall over £1.50. The sp then fell as many do during a crazy rise (spike), and down went it went.
To be fair here, many have been caught on this scenario in their naive times.
The thing is though, with you and several others on here, cannot accept that this was your own decision of buying and timing....live in denial and cannot accept that you and you alone bought at the wrong time. So you blame everyone else and not yourselves.
I wouldn’t be surprised that you didn’t even know much about the company at all when you bought in. FATAL mistake.
Again, I will always come back to this...... if a genuine holder of shares in this company, would you ever want to all day every day shoot the company down....?
Unless, it’s for a different agenda....this is what you’ve never admitted to....that you are trying to get people not to buy or to sell in order that the sp drops. For the reason of buying in at a lower price or that somehow you’ve managed to short the share.
There’s not really any other paths you can take apart from you being a complete idiot.
That’s why I call you out, and your misery compadres, to make sure anyone reading this stuff knows the score.
You’re not sorry at all
You have an agenda to slate this share.
Grow up, admit it or simply go back to the gutter where you came from
So stick with the positive you doughnut.
Why express caution and negativity ALL the time? No need for it at all.
You would be the worst salesperson in the world
Your negativity is quite possibly insurmountable . You really need to try much harder to resist the downside comments.
Goodness knows how miserable you are in real life
I dearly hope for your sake you’re not.
And for the record, if you knew what challenges I am and have been going through over the last few years it would be enough for some to write themselves off from this world.
Finally, if I was you, and how you have dealt with this share as an investment, to make money, I’d take the money back and run.
Don’t come back.
You appear to be awful at this game
You drown everyone else in sorrow and ultimately pity you
And no, you’re not the only one on here that could take stock of what I’ve written above
Putting aside the sexist comment...
It’s obvious they know....
Absolutely no harm though in maximising exposure
But then again the likes of guy and his merriless band of misers don’t want GDR to succeed despite the fact that they’re “supposedly” invested and holding shares in this company.
Guy.... what planet do you live on?
This is for humans not birds.
Says it all if you’re still in the gutter calling women “birds”
This is 2022 not 1982
Yet another disgraceful moment
Useful input as ever Guy
Such continual misery from someone “supposedly” holding shares in this company.
Quite phenomenal the way you behave.
A disgrace to this board quite frankly
I dearly hope you still plan to exit hitting 33 and no more from you
Yep. I even thought further a short while ago... how’s this for thought....
This machine, I believe, takes a swab test reading and aims to match or not to a specific gene.
That then means that in fact this machine could quite easily work with other medical avenues, other genetic issues.
This is supported by two extracts , first from the NHS article today and the second from the NICE MIB report
1.... ‘......Professor Dame Sue Hill, Chief Scientific Officer for England and Senior Responsible Officer for Genomics in the NHS, said: “Genomic medicine is transforming healthcare, and this is a powerful example of how genetic testing can now be done extremely quickly and become a vital part of triage – not only in intensive care but across our services.”....’
2.... “.....The test kit is used with the Genedrive System, a small molecular diagnostic platform compatible with different gene assays....”
The future of medicine and it’s methods are genetically transforming.
Not only that, but the NHS have effectively “stolen” the claim that it’s THEIR product in the title....
“NHS develops world-first bedside genetic test to prevent babies going deaf”
quite the cheek really but if they want to “own” it.... let’s see them “own” it
I reckon that’s a huge hint this will go throughout the uk to many hospitals if not most very quickly.
This will therefore easily surpass my figures in another thread “NHS Trusts”
For anyone that missed these figures I posted last night and sometimes it can get overwhelming reading through all the posts I thought I’d refresh this thread.
on top of that to re-iterate a recent post of mine that links in well with this thread ......
“It is expected the test could save the NHS £5 million every year by reducing the need for other interventions, such as cochlear implants.”
Something else that someone on these numerous posts asked about...
Can this test be used for other patients such as adults.... ?
In the MIB article through NICE it also states that it can. Effectively for all ages, primarily for that “golden hour” of birth where it’s going to prevent babies being given the wrong antibiotics due to the side effect of deafness.
As ever, good luck to all those genuine holders in this amazing company
Good luck to Genedrive

@ beech.... you should change the last letter of your username to a “b”
Just a thought for being more appropriate
On the ball ogm4. Nice one ;))
Strategic planning by GDR ....very well played so far
One thing stood out in the NHS article for sure and it’s what I’ve been suggesting already...
“It is expected the test could save the NHS £5 million every year by reducing the need for other interventions, such as cochlear implants.”
This is why it’s a total no brainer to invest in this throughout the uk hospitals as it will SAVE money longer term

Not forgetting, butcher, the thousands of currently pregnant women and their partners that would have seen this on tv. And those planning to get pregnant.
This will be on their agenda now
Media exposure captures anyone
Very simple to use
Forget the money and shares element for a moment
Consider....
Quite remarkable this achievement.
The thousands that will benefit without even knowing what could have been.
Over 100 now... 200 plus by end of day
Yes.... buzzing.
I reckon there have been, and will be, loads of preset orders set for the opening bell on Monday, this weekend
First 30 mins will be very enlightening
I hope the BBC get in on this now.
World first, world class, innovative, simple to use, cheap, effective..
Cheesy yes...but
Game changer in the world of medical science

@ beech.... just admit it. You’re fighting a losing battle.
National Tv exposure, prime time slot
Thousands of pregnant women out there and ones planning to
Public exposure will add weight to applying pressure that this test will be needed.
For the grand scheme of things this could be considered as not only extremely cheap as a cost but in fact life long cost saving
Good luck with your short...rofl lmfao

To further add....
Australia..... 300k births
This is now where it gets very interesting.......
EUROPE...... (EU)....... 4 million
USA..... 3.6 million
Chose those “locations” as we are in motions of dealing with them
And look how much larger (obviously)they are than our tiny island.
Now compare my original figures for the UK.
Exponential
Enormous
Multi bagging
World exposure
Mind boggles
Have a fabulous weekend and have a drink on the naysaying muppets and toast to them with
Up your bumh0le5

There’s (as far as I have checked) 219 trusts in the UK.
If we go very conservative in our coin counting and say that only one machine is bought by each trust @ 5k per machine that’s already over £1 million.
With over 1200 hospitals in the uk...let’s say only half of them take only one machine then that’s 600 x £5k which equates to £3 million
Again this is JUST the machine, and only one purchased in my examples above....
From this it’s quite easy to see where this could all go
£5k per machine
£750 per yearly extended warranty
£400 per printer
£40 per 200 custom label
£100 per 4 QC materials
This does not even include the obvious...
£80 per test
Typically 680,000 newborns for 2019
Let’s say only 5% of newborns tested @ £80 per baby
£2,720,000 just from test charges.
The above I would suggest are conservative calculations and have only calculated the machines and tests. There are all the other items for additional sales to consider. We can all make our own thoughts there.
This is only the beginning of standard practice....
Potentially testing all newborns
This so far is only the UK
Other stats later
Lmao Bruno.... exactly!
Excellent news broadcast.
Bring it on naysayers! Shove it up yours hey....!
