There’s approximately 680,000 births in the UK alone (stats of 2019)
Around 100,000 of those births need the urgent care that this amazing product can help each year.
Roughly 1 in 500 newborns have the specific genome that causes the deafness from being given the relevant antibiotics.

With regards to existing practices of testing the natal wards only need to use around 40 tests for it break even in financial cost terms to then above that makes this equipment cost effective. Easily achievable in my opinion so financially it seems to be a no brainer.

The following is where this becomes an absolute no brainer and literal “must have”....

These newborns needing medical protection through antibiotics must have it inside 60 minutes. The current tests take at least 2 days if not longer. This is far too long a wait and therefore the babies are given antibiotics.

Drumroll please...... with this new world first equipment, it gives the results in LESS than 30 minutes.... which therefore means that quite literally no more risks taken as the detection has been made in the timeframe. This then means that those little darling newborns, that have the relevant genome do NOT get given the antibiotics that cause deafness.
Hypothetically this would mean no more deaf children through this method. And this in itself, purely on cost.... will SAVE the NHS tens of thousands if not more because these children will be able to have a more normal life.

Back to figures.....
If only 1 unit (device) per neonatal ward... £1 million straight away. (200 units)
100k newborns tested..... £8 million every year
And then there’s all the other extras such as warranties, labels etc.
Looking like a very pretty sum now hey....

Then there’s other countries ( kapow!)
Future thinking..... then there’s lots of other genome tests that the machines will be able to deliver.....

We can all have frustrations in general, on here, and obviously with GDR too. There have been some very frustrating times but luckily for the most on here, I don’t feel the “need” or desire to bring everyone else down too.

great point on the quick and ease of training... making the mindset much more amenable if the Trusts are to consider a wide range of scenarios.
What I also think is fabulous with this new technology is that it’s totally harmless for the newborn.... just a swag taken.

As I’ve mentioned a few times now too, over the past few days, we have been in this waiting period since the big Trust news for a few weeks now and it was stated as a manner of weeks so..... with this in mind, it “should” be pretty soon now... tempted to say imminent as there’s not much of a window from calling out “weeks” to go into “months”

Would be awesome to hear of the next NHS Trust, or Trusts, are going ahead with AIHL.

This may well have a domino effect with one Trust after another.

Would be amazing to hear that Guy’s and St. Thomas are taking this on... high profile hospitals (Trust)

It’s pitiful you claim to be a holder but all you want to do is ****e on the very company you’re supposedly invested in.
That makes no sense at all.
Virtually 100% of all companies that have any common and business sense will promote and put aside the downsides. That’s not to say they’re being deceitful because they haven’t lied. (Caveat....some do of course but I’m aiming to generalise here).

No company in their right (business) mind will constantly degrade themselves or they’ll be out of business.....

The fact that the NHS has claimed “ownership” on this new and important test stands testament that it’s simply a matter of WHEN this gets rolled out across the UK and not IF.

This is AIM....Fluctuating greater, as a rule, than the higher level indices and people tend to be more fluid. The shares more illiquid with huge rises not uncommon off positive news. This is why many of us are here.

Sp has slowly decreased, on small volume overall, over the past few weeks with some recovery peaks on the way... mainly due to no further news as yet.
Has hopefully now met up with bottom line support @ 23 and now making it’s mark in recovery.... to how high....?

Would be amazing, of course, to hear something this afternoon, but none of us know if this will occur.
What, hopefully though, many of us holders do know, is that the enormous potential due is getting closer and closer to announcement.
With this in mind, many holders remain so because, as that BS idiot Cavendish aka chavdines, posted earlier this will be a multi bagger.... not because though of today’s initial recovery.

This company has so much future ahead of itself... forward thinking, ground breaking technology to the point of changing fundamental avenues in the way medical science and procedures are dealt.
