Bots not bits, damn autospell

Bought some more. Let the attack of the bits commence. Lol.

I think some are holders who are deeply underwater and panicking, or who have alteady sold taking a thumping loss and are feeling disgruntled about it. But there are those who infest BBs who descend on shares taking a battering to proclaim that they foretold the dropping price (even when they didn't), and basically, to gloat at others losses. A sad inditement of human nature, but there you go.

I won't try and call the bottom, or even predict where the price will go today, because I don't have a clue, but I just have a strong feeling that JP will be tweeting 'Jumping Jack Flash' by the Rolling Stones very soon.

It's annoying for sure. If only we could have shipped a couple of weeks ago. Is there any reason the company can't hedge some of the tanker oil? We could have locked in a much better price.

And yet, buys outstrip sells once again. Its the bots forcing this down, presumably partly on the back of the slump in oil price.

I don't know if Fellrunner is male or female. And I don't care. Fellrunner is an investor, and I'd hazard a guess, pretty deeply under water here, and feeling the pain.

Chaps, there's been a slightly mysoginistic tone creeping in to the responses to Fellrunner. Can we bin that, please? There's no need. I appreciate everyone's on edge with the sp performance, but lets be civilized.

On the sp. There has been a severe downward plunge over the last week or so, but this has not been news driven. It is trades driven. So it can just as easily reverse, and just as quickly, especially if the news is good.

Yet again. That has been more or less the consistent pattern over the last week. And yet the bots seem capable of driving the price down in the face of it. It's strange, but does not seem to suggest that info from the drill is leaking. It does seem to be scaring some people out though.

Has bouncd back a bit this morning. I see OPEC were musing about steep cuts over the weekend. Fingers crossed the price can hold through this week.

No surprise. Let's see how the SP reacts. You'd have thought this was pretty much priced in already.

I note people are still referring to this as a realistic forecast for y/e next year. It would be an almost ten fold increase over forecast y/e production of 8k this year. I strongly believe this was predicated on the BP deal completing successfully. It seems beyond the bounds of credibility that SDX could ramp up production ten fold next year.

I'm not deramping, I'm still sat on a load of shares here. Just trying to give a reality check.

If someone explains how production could ramp up ten fold next year, I'd be interested to hear.

I think the price drop is mch more to do with wider market wobbles, and the slide in the price of oil meaning a rather steeper sell-off in the O&G sector.

The drill can't be down to hydrocarbon bearing zones yet, there should be around another couple of weeks to go. The price action seems to be driven by the bots, the general trend seems to be more buys than sells. Bots won't be trading on inside info, but on spotting trends such as oil price and general market direction.

Given we have 5 out of 7 Directors on the Port Board, I am hoping for an announcement that an agreement has been reached between the Group and the Kholmsk Port to secure JSC Petrosakh as a direct supplier of fuel oil to the Kholmsk Port, as originally intended. This should improve margins and ease the working cap situation.

So why the feck are they paying external accountants to review the working cap position. Why are they preEmpting that report? And anyway, they should have a management accountant on the staff who can produce working cap forecasts under a range of different scenarios. If they've got a beef with Kononov they shouldn't be letting him directly run half the company. This flim flam is embarrasing.

On the upside, its pretty clear that the company is in okay shape, apart from this battle between Kononov and the Board.

Did I buy some JOG shares yesterday, instead of waiting until today

Accountants will be doing this looking to 30 June next year. So the time horizon for the company to go into admin, or Kononov to stump up $3m has gone from end of last month, to end of this month, to soon, to middle of next year. The Board are a joke, they've lost all credibility over this. When's the AGM?

Decent load, price to be determined over the next week. It will provide enough money to repay loans and fund ops for Arctikneft over the winter. I am guessing that Petrosakh generates sufficient funds to wash its face, so the working cap shortfall must relate to fracking fleet, divi, and other aspirational stuff. Be interesting to see what the accountants report says. Although I bet they never publish it. Seems clear Kononov isn't going to repay, and they're long-grassing this affair.

I saw that the MMs absorbed a pretty big sell today without slamming the price down. Interesting.

Whilst I broadly agree with PNE79's sentiment, I've been renovating a house over the last few months, which has involved a considerable amount of time watching paint dry (and plaster, epoxy, filler, varnish etc etc). I can categorically say that watching the gyrations of the Sound share price is far more fun, and I naughtily skivved off early today to do just that.
