Not getting away from it, a very disappointing day, double ouch. Mulling it over though, we still have a huge short, mid, and long-term future in good shape for both areas of the business. Pretty much everything is intact and some further reassurance.
I've added again today, beginning to look cheap.

Agent B. I’ve just had lunch with a journalist from a national in this space. Believe me but there is zero sense or knowledge around this subject. In some ways it’s not surprising, albeit it’s just been one of the most important matters in our country’s recent history.

I can’t say who it is but I’ll put a version of the bundle together tomorrow and send. Fingers X it will be timely and gather some steam. I’ve offered a scoop on another matter once and if it’s run with.

Avacta Avacta., where are we today.
Nothing, nothing worse than selling up and the contract news then takes us into what we’ve been holding onto for so long. This is a proper Company, not like the rest of the talked up krap in the market.
We will have our vengeance, in this life or the next.

One thing Avacta have shown is that news comes very unexpectedly and they are quite capable of keeping things very wrapped up. The harder part in the waiting game was news of proving the test and the CEs etc. Now that part’s done we’re into inevitable orders. It’s just which day they tell us and how big they are going to be. I’ve no doubt they will be big and it’s beginning to dawn on me that it’s likely to well exceed my expectations.

A private Company with no credentials who have skilfully played the space. It’s feasible the business could have managed this for another year and trousered a whole load more. Quite a performance and an all time classic. Movie rights must be valuable down the line. Most likely they won’t have to give any of it back.

Should be a bonanza. The entire stock will need replacing PDQ. So many opening up plans rested on lateral flows.

I think they’ll have to sign Avacta now, if they haven’t already.

A lesson learnt for many. Just goes to show.........

We should be due some further news on Professor Chris Twelves, AVA6000 timing/progress soon, perhaps before the 21st June.

I thought the previous RNS, dealing with the speculation, was slightly curt; certainly v short and to the point. Maybe reflective of the ****-up of the outsourced submission. Would have been so much easier just to have sent one with a bit more flesh last week. I'd certainly have understood that and shared their frustration.

Thanks Scardeycat. Really enjoyed the whole glasshousegate. Was particularly funny for me reading it back from a different time zone. It’s been one of the best episodes of the Avacta Show over the last year for sure.

PA Consulting were the team that worked with the govt on the aborted National ID Cards. They will have a lot of knowledge from the past and I’d be surprised if that’s not one of the reasons they won the gig for the Covid project.
