So when do we think the share price will return to GBX127?

Was it the same for everyone else? This last pay out wasn't classed by my broker as a dividend, but as a corporate action. Also I notice that it didn't register as a payment on dividenddata.co.uk. In both cases the July payment WAS classed as a dividend?

Big correction first thing, but looks like momentum is winning.

Don't know if anyone has a different view, but I did a rough calculation of a share price based on a return to pre-pandemic levels taking into account the massive share dilution of last year, and came up with about £1.50. Any alternative viewpoints out there?

According to T212, GLO's payout ratio of the LFY was 671.25%! Have they ****ed this up somewhere, or is this correct does anyone know?

I know P/E ratio is not the be-all and end-all of a company's value, but at 5.4 I'll be hanging on to these and laughing maniacally as the enormous divi payments land in the account. Can't understand why anyone would want to sell anytime soon? But then again, I'm an investor, not a trader.

I know this isn't the be-all and end-all of a company's value....but 0.79 for God's sake, with some cracking products in the pipeline! I think this just confirms the "stock market in the short term is a voting machine...." adage!

I've been in contact with Wren Smith from DEC, asking what relevance CREST has to the tax rate, as my broker is blaming CREST events for ignoring the treaty tax reduction. He's looking into this issue for me and as part of his last reply included iWeb's thoughts on the matter (not my broker by the way). I've copied and pasted the relevant section below.

UK listed shares paying US sourced dividends
Ordinarily if you complete a W-8BEN form you will only pay the 15% Withholding Tax rate instead of 30% on US listed shares paying US sourced dividends. For UK listed shares paying US sourced dividends a 30% Withholding Tax rate is applied even if you have a W-8BEN form in place.

For example, you would receive $70 on a $100 dividend.

Would be interested to know anyone's thoughts on this, apart from the bell-end who thinks having his dividend payments reduced is just boring....dude!

Hi Ellen. It has recently come to my attention that KKV Secured Loan Fund (KKVL) is going through a managed wind-down. On emailing the company, I was informed that they were not allowed to speak to individual, non-professional investors (as determined by the FCA). They have redirected me back to yourselves. My question was, how does this affect myself as an individual investor? Will the share price just dwindle to nothing as the assets are sold off and returned as dividends? Will the shares just become valueless overnight? Or will there be no effect on ordinary shareholders at all? My last question comes about as I am still able to purchase KKVL in my ISA, so am a little confused that you still allow this if the company is basically closing down?

Ok the team have said that they will be going through a series of redemptions. So over time they would be removed as you receive payments for them. I am asking about the trading situation now.
OK the team have said they can't see anywhere if there is a date for stopping trading, on the details.

OK. Your penultimate message says "over time they would be removed....". By "they" do you mean my number of shares showing would reduce until they become zero?

Yes, i do so the shares would be removed from your account once you have received the money. From what my colleagues said it would going to be a series of partial redemptions. Now that could mean a few customers at a time or all holders have a number of their shares removed and a payment. Multiple times.

When I online chatted with Halifax, they said they didn't process scrip dividends???

Hi everyone.
I'm not familiar with scrip dividends as a newbie to investing. Do you get the option of cash as an alternative? And if your share dealing platform does not process them, does that just mean you're just screwed if there is no cash alternative?

Does anyone know for sure if T212 are able to process scrip dividends?
