Its probably down to the stalwarts who think they own serica out right getting bored. Maybe theyre off doing some gardening getting ready for spring and the yachting season

Well one thing we can agree on is that Serica should be valued higher by the market. Mainly due to the current bod efforts during the past few years. Just need the message to get out there more inmv.

Maybe if u.s sanctions are eased with the new u.s administration serica could end up being able to purchase iocs share of rhum.

And to add i most certaintly do not not lament the companies achievement. Quite the opposite. Why would i still hold my shares. Maybe the house brokers advisors could be a little more proactive. Just a thought. As you say and i agree the bod are doing their job .but it does not seem to be getting through to would be investors. Maybe this is a general problem nowadays

I havent traded this share. Had you bothered to read my post as it was intended then you will understand. A listed company needs to retain shareholders. Inmv they have not been proactive enough in doing that during the past couple years. I.e on the acquisition front . For me i bought into serica nearly a decade ago when trading 30 40 p. So my point is it has not been a great investment for those buying in then .Great investment when it lows of 6p with bkr coming along had you invested then and as i said not so good in the past two years.
Im akso baffled as to why you feel the bod should not be concerned or bothered with the poor price performance. I bet you they would soon change their tune if they wanted existing holders to stump up some cash for something though.
So for me taking out the years invested it has not been that wonderful. But as i have said anyone investing now should not go far wrong
Also maybe the company should become private if existing holders find it insulting that other investors feel unhappy with the shareholder returns of late.

I cant speak for anyone else, but it has been very annoying to see deals struck by other o and g companies and to see some taken over when inmv they should not have been. So today's rise is a welcome boost for sentiment if nothing else. Maybe the company could put into place a buy back program to support the price and shareholder value.
I think it's relevant as to how long people have been holding. My view is anyone buying in at these levels would get a return from now on , but had you bought in two years ago not so good. Not that wonderful had you been holding for the past decade.. Just my view.
