Thanks Red, I agree with your points. I note the article also says it's a partnership to "develop" the tech. So I guess they don't actually have anything built yet. Just an agreement to make something to target the oil and gas market.

I guess SEE can repurpose guardian or CAT technology for this sector easily enough. And they have the milage to prove their hardware is more than capable.

Here's hoping they're keeping quiet as they negotiate deals we'll one day hear about. Hopefully as you say in a Monday morning RNS.

I appreciate your input on this one red and see your point, I guess the lack of news on the SEE front makes any news from a competitor seem that little bit greater than it might actually be in reality.

It doesn't matter that it's a small company and it doesn't matter that it says Estimated. Estimated can mean more, granted it can also mean less. But it's still a win in the oil and gas field before SEE.

Paul Mc did mention they were looking to enter into this field. Hence the contract re negotiation with CAT. But it's still annoying that Eyesight have pipped us to the post on this one, even if it is deemed a small contract.

From small acorns mighty oaks grow, don't think because they are small they aren't a threat.

I love SEE tech and I definitely see it's potential, I just hate these small startups popping out of the woodwork an grabbing a share of the pie we should already have staked.

Indeed, 50,000 fleet vehicles isn't exactly meagre...

Either way, it doesn't matter. Fundamentals looks strong with SEE, so I'm not bothered by any short term fluctuations in the SP.
