I do not need for a second to be convinced as to the true value of our assets and until EMR intentions regarding ARS are known I will remain on the defensive. O.Hegarty did not get were is by being meek that is for sure!
Personally I would welcome If EMR was interested in Beutong and therefore we can concentrate on KSK.

First mentioned (warned ) about EMR here 4 YEARS ago and a number of times since !!!!

I think that you are a bit rush in your opinion.
Aware or not believe this venture is unique. What we are witnessing here is the birth of a major . Like any birth it is fraught with difficulties , unknown and danger .
As the gestation period is coming to term we are all here, in our own way play father like role fussing around the newborn to be. Some will always make better fathers than others but all have the heart in the right place.

Indeed I could not agree more that at a certain point a deeper selection process must be applied. The habit does not
make the monk as they say just as not everyone possess Company makers attributes, if that is what is required.
You say a resounding YES and you may well be right however Bedrock skills needed are not easily assessed as they are not reported in an applicant' s resumes. In fact they will tend not to reveal them. The bedrock composition of our individual personality is unique to each of us and like its geologic namesake it has faults and folds.
It will be surprising that while building a billion $ Company some of them will not be exposed.

Corporations, like everything else, requires commitment and purposefulness in order to succeed.
I hope we can all see Asiamet in those terms.
No matter what its mission & vision are, a Company' s fate is in the hands of the mix of people who run it and own it because people are people. Some are dedicated Company' people some are there purely for themselves.
Lately we have had a lot of new shareholders joining in and a number of new appointments. Without of a doubt decent and top qualified people experts in their field but are they all Company people?

A noticeable shake of the tree of some sort which hopefully has not weakened its roots.

The co-founder of specialist mining private equity EMR Capital Jason Chang says he'd love to have to pay BHP a kicker of up to $US50 million ($67 million) after securing a deal to buy the Cerro Colorado mine in Chile from the mining giant.

Under the terms of the deal, EMR will pay $US230 million ($310 million), plus a further $US40 million from the sale of some inventory from the mine.

But in a mechanism becoming common in resource sector deals, the transaction will also allow BHP to receive as much as $US50 million in "kicker" payments if the copper price rises.

"I think it's a bit of a win-win for the vendor and the buyer," Mr Chang told The Australian Financial Review. "We'd be very happy making that payment."

But while many experts expect the copper market will fall into under-supply in the next few years, Mr Chang emphasised that EMR was not buying Cerro Colorado on basis of the copper price rising and would instead look to increase production from the mine, and the size of its resource base.
Cerro Colorado mine is located in the Atacama Desert in Northern Chile and produced 65,000 tonnes of copper cathode in the 2017 financial year.

"We see this opportunity as one of scale. We think that the Cerro Colorado has a very promising future," Mr Chang said.

"We are not banking on copper prices, we are banking on our ability to grow production and grow the resource base."

Copper in demand
Nonetheless, copper is one of the hottest parts of the mining industry because of surging demand – including from China, electric vehicles and renewable energy technology – and falling production.

"Current supply is already very stretched. You are actually seeing a reduction in production when the world needs more and more copper," Mr Chang said.

"Everyone is chasing copper and the thing about EMR is we are in those markets every single day."

The BHP deal continues a busy year for EMR, which closed a deal in late December to buy an 80 per cent stake in a copper mine in Zambia and in March teamed up with Adaro Energy to buy Rio Tinto's Kestrel underground coal mine for $US2.25 billion.

The firm also operates the Golden Grove copper and zinc mine in Queensland, the Capricorn Copper mine in Queensland and the Martabe gold and silver mine in Indonesia.

It also has four development projects, including a copper asset in Chile, a coking coal development in Britain and two in potash projects in Utah.

"We are building a portfolio of getting up to 20 million tonnes of contained copper. You've got to be excited about that," Mr Chang said.

Mr Chang said EMR would remain on the hunt for assets despite its recent splurge, and predicted the next 12 months to 24 months would see more deals.

"You are in a very exciting time, because there are very interesting and attractive assets on the market."

For the vast majority of KLG shareholders 10p would mean selling at a loss. Now the largest pool of bargain basement share goes back to the 170M consideration shares and the accompanying 50M C$0.023 (1.3p) placement granted to Tiger and TR Minerals. Tony would surely know most if not all of them owners.

Everyone today talk about copper. IMO tomorrow , anyone left will also be talking about a much shiner metal.

If that happen I bet all my ARS shares that Tony's advice will be to categorically reject it. If he is true to us and
himself he may/will only let go project by project. He is well aware that we have so far only scratched the surface and the best is yet to come.

I cannot do it for you but for six years now I have warned on this BB that we have seen nothing yet and this is a chance of a lifetime.
Luckily now with the proof starting to emerge the ball is still in our court. Up to Us.

...And you know part of the rationale for putting together these properties (BKM & Beutong) was really to build a portfolio of copper assets, something which on delivery, we could build a billion dollar plus company around, I've sort of said that a number of times and that's the potential of the asset base, but I think it's fair to say we put a lot of effort into selecting these properties in the first place

That's why we've been able to deliver consistently into milestones because of the quality of the assets. But like all good assets they continue to surprise us on the upside it's when you get those really high-quality opportunities you get upside surprises not downside surprises the ones that you don't want. So, I guess it continues to deliver on the upside for us in everything almost everything that we do on these properties...

I first apologise should you find my comments out of place.
Personally I am a little puzzled when Tony is talking like this, that he dismiss that a substantial lot of shareholders (approx. worth 150+Mil shares) did not take part in this effort. In reality, the effort up to that time of this lot , if compared, was immensely greater and a long way from the merit of a window shopping exercise. (talking here about KSK only)
Also the recognition of the potential and the appreciation of upside that Tony refer to was never ever in doubt. So you do not need to be surprised that even when money run out we were still motivated to keep going. Right thru the exploration period this was a recurrent event. So for me the truth is , Tony with his team of experts are simply confirming what was identified long ago. If I knew better I would advance that it is the asset that found him not the other way around. I very much thank him and his team of course and together we can all rejoice.
However lets all hope there are no clouds on the horizon and for what is worth I quote below something we may want to draw some wisdom when the time comes to develop and deriving benefit from those truly amazing assets.

May sound corny but the arm wrestling experienced is nothing new. Always changing it is a natural
course of event for things to be pushed or resisted depending on where one stand.
ARS ' s case is no different. With close to a billion shares the battle now is between those who have eyes riveted on the share value and those who foremost and steadfastly wish for this venture to succeed.
A large proportion of investors which are relatively new, compared to the history of this venture, will tend to think in term of their own personal circumstances and insensitive to the wider benefits that awaits should this be allowed to
become fully fledged.
btw regarding Trump. Like it or not , agreed or not, kicking the ants nest is his wake up call for change.
