not so sure. we are up against the kosovo government which i agree doesnt bode well for the future but as we have written this was to be expected to a degree. the other quarries are tied up more so than this one, infact this was the key one needed for volume and value.

be interesting where this goes, i doubt that the actual aim is the 195 million received more highlighting what is taking place. i'm not clear on current kosovo politics so they may just throw fox straight out and start it all up themselves. he is hoping that we can create some stability and get some value.

at the same time this is the quarry that has the bod connections and has it been still since june/july with no one making any money? they signed a deal for 20 + 20 years and then another 300 potential hectares so it all went south quite quickly. they want more money, chris wants to follow contracts and no corruption?? who will win

Always ****es me off when the bod loose the business, delist and no doubt it trades and gets bought for a quid. This could quite possibly be going on. Being listed at any level or in any country doesn’t really stop this being possible. Very corporate people ever go to jail

The one in question is all self financed, that was half the point about now buying it all and paying some royalties.

The Chinese volume losses are huge, I wonder with four could they adapt to keep going, is the threat is stone alliance going big enough?

I’m holding, high risk, high loss but following this one through.

There operating all other quarries including white and blue marble. They have tried to buy this quarry no different to gulf marble based on an original deal which I guess they don’t now agree upon. They also had the agreement for opening up another 300 hectares, equipment etc. This supplied our big China company so interesting as fox have a choice on two deals to extract for 40 years as per now but have stopped all together.

The €195 million is to gain attention and question business overall in Kosovo, if fox fail they want international business to know and steer clear. The local, national government won’t back the deal so it’s gone to the highest level which then poses questions around investment full stop. Not good for a shareholder but it’s happening and not surprising as the volumes and value of the assets increased
