UK shares looking cheap at the moment. I'm looking at VOD, TW. and CHLL. A good balance to add to your portfolio in my opinion. However, always get professional advice before investing: I'm but a humble punter.
I second that emotion.

Oh No! That's a double faux pas by the TAAT directors for the UK market.
In the UK, "TWOS" is an alternative name for stools. So "TAAT TWOS" is about as humorous as you can get. ROFL!
I agree that the best way forward is for property developers to take control of the situation themselves, regardless of who is to blame. At least that would help them recover the support of the general public. They have the weight to get to the bottom of who is to blame and how to avoid any similar event occurring in the future.
However, I thought that Gove's statement in the house was typical of the man. He is a self-serving bureaucrat just trying to feather his own nest. He has destroyed every department that he has served in through his incompetence. What a complete idiot: how does such a man get to be elected? It baffles me. He just blatantly as good as stated that the whole industry was corrupt! What a complete self-serving tonker. All imho, of course but check for yourselves what he did for Education when he was there if you don't believe me.
12:15 pm Big Gap: 17.50/19.00. Interest Building. Something coming in the pipeline? Anyone in on it?
Hi Bellers,
The answer may be that supply chain issues are affecting multiple companies at the moment and they have never been in this situation before. They have no past experience to draw upon to judge what may develop under these circumstances.
Note LSE media from yesterday "What's hot":

Just to elaborate further on SBET positions, if JS takes a long position, i.e. bets that the shares will go higher, he will have to pay interest on the cost of the shares he has taken control over. So as HD says, he has to judge that the interest paid will be less than the CGT that he would be liable for on fully owned shares. That only takes a small rise in the share price to be justifiable.
But bear in mind that the investment must also be justifiable in relation to the risk involved. Otherwise he would just take his money elsewhere. He may have an informed idea of where the business is really going, or he may just like to take risks and be part of the in-crowd. Personally I'd think that he's here to make money, and a lot of it.
If he takes a short position, then there is no interest to pay, in fact he may get interest paid back to him. He would, however, be liable for the costs of any dividends paid in the future if he still holds the short. And if the share price goes up he stands to lose a packet.
This is all in my own understanding, but please correct me if I've put anything wrong. And please get independent advice before you invest in ANYTHING. You can easily lose your shirt if you don't.
Someone traded 1.5 million shares for 15p per share.
I wonder what that was?
Share pattern could mean that someone knows something, or may just be planned manipulation? Very characteristic share pattern. Unfortunately, means nothing to me as I'm a relative novice. I'd interpret it as meaning that someone knows something - presumably it would be easy for someone in the supply chain to know what is happening.
Hank
Will it recover after 3pm when they close all their trades?
(I'm new to this so just an educated guess.)
Hank
Hi KV,
I think that 15-20p is a good price to be in at.
I also noticed that the gummys now seem to have 25mg Cannabidiol/Gummy. This is in contrast to other brands that have just 10mg. Has anyone tried the 10mg versions? How are they compared to the 25mg Chill versions?
I'm currently tapering off from some pretty serious medication. I have a supply of the Chill gummys and I've dipped into them when I was getting worked up over nothings. A useful addition to the armoury for me.
Hank.
They surely deserve it though, for all the risks that they're taking (with our money!).
Hank
P.S. I sold my shares in HNR (the former iteration) when they were 5p. I wish that I'd just left it there. Fortunately I don't have all my eggs in one basket like Fred. However, there is some hope for the company, I believe, in the long term. I truly hope that this market takes off and revolutionises the leisure industry.
Don't worry Vas, I'm sure it won't affect the pace of the Director's remuneration.
I note on the UK government website that "the full novel foods authorisation process is expected to take at least a year before a final decision is made".
On the face of things, it appears that authorisation will follow around the first quarter of 2022.
Presumably we should find out then who the major UK "prominent retail partner" is that is taking the products on board.
Love,
Hank
I just did it.
**** = 5h1t
Hi Guys,
As this is my thread, I want to say that I did not give permission for people to **** all over it.
Please could you remain clear and concise in what you are saying and avoid ranting.
In addition, we all seem to have drifted off topic. Suggest we start a new thread for the TAAT general comments and restrict this thread to comments connected to the CBD logo and associated brand marketing issues.
Thank you,
Hank.
Thanks for all the comments/feedback.
I'd add that good advertising for CBD products will be good for everyone, I think, apart from TAAT in the UK, of course.
TAAT need to rebrand for the UK in my opinion.
I wonder if the TAAT board were too fixated with their much loved brand? Maybe they don't care about profits. They just want to see their brand name up in lights? Or could they be thinking of drawing in a cult following? That'll be a short draw for me.
However, surely any successful promotion for CBD products will have a beneficial spin-off effect for all?
I love the logo (and the branding). Who designed the logo?
Have they entered this for a Clio Cannabis Award? Any other awards on the horizon?
If not, I'd say it stands a good chance of winning multiple awards. Do the board read this forum?
Thanks BB2.
I tried the code and it didn't work, but from your code, I guessed TRYCHILL and that worked.
£9 discount off the £30, but then had to add postage. If I'd bought 2, I'd have saved the postage.
I've never tried these before,so looking forward to the experience.
