Ssssshhhhhhhhhh - she's up a little again
Looks like you were right, lets hope for a slow rise without the pump and dumpers
I would put anything above 13.09 today down as a buy, which would make things more interesting
looks like they've opened up the spread and killed the buys dead - who would want a 20% spread?
wow, look at these buys coming in. Went up on ASX by 48% day before yesterday then dropped back a bit. Now it seems to be catching up here. Glad I topped up earlier this week. Wonder what news is coming through?
agreed, they show a huge spread which has to be off putting to those who don't know to try and buy for less. The real spread is much closer and the buy price has been .58/.59. I think we may have bottomed for the moment.
see what I mean - just sorry I am at work and can't do the same ! We'll soon be back up.
I think many holders bought in before the last rise, I managed to double my holding at .54p. Unlike me, I think they have also sold out at huge profits, so they should be back soon to do the same again. Main thing is the company are doing OK and we should have more news sometime this year and that may solidify the price a bit more.
Didn't mean I was averse to a rise, I just want it nice and steady which is what I have seen. Have already made a nice proft here but inclined to stay for quite a bit longer rather sell out.
I agree with everyone the BOD don't shout news from the roof top buuut, whilst many of my other shares have been very volatile in these difficult times, Alkane have remained very steady. I've been in this share for many years now and much prefer this steady solid sort of company. I'm also hoping that one day, maybe in a couple of years, they'll start to pay a dividend. I've bought into one or two companies with that in mind, time will tell if I'm just a dreamer, in the meantime fingers crossed and lets hope the 'pumpers and dumpers' stay away !!
yes, did a bit of research ages ago and decided that CFU was further ahead. Also, if I remember right I don't think Ceres was as flexible a boiler unit in that you had to have heating on in order to have hot water, may not have got that quite right as it was a while ago but the CFu was the better one. Having said that in terms of share price I bet I've chosen the wrong one !!!
Yes, I knew they were with E-on, unfortunately just after I switched to N Power But may switch to them when I come up for renewal in the hope they offer incentives to change boiler as mine is really old . Have you seen the big buy this morning ??
Did you see inside the boiler housing? why do you reckon there was so much apparent space around the actual boiler unit. I couldn't see any pipes but we could only see a bit above floor level so I suppose there could have been something there. If they could reduce the size this would be far more usable in UK homes. Nice to here someone else who is as positive as me that this company really has something special
Just watched the Today, Tonight programme on Aussie tele: http://au.news.yahoo.com/today-tonight/video/watch/29048454/coming-up-on-today-tonight/ It's really quite impressive and at least it's producing electricity at peak times rather than solar which produces most when we don't need it as much. The units are quite big but they all seem to put them outside, although looking into the outer container the boiler itself doesn't look that big - not sure what all the space was for. I suppose larger houses could put them in the garage. Even more convinced now that they are the future and they will coninue to develop.
they must be closer than they were - surely those secretaries have something to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Picture subtitles say 'pipe to and from the jetty' - suggests to me that the pipeline is finished. Lets hope for a bit more information but can't say BIP are the most forthcoming of Companies with news, they probably think it obvious from the pics.
Don' tbelieve the sell figures - you could buy at 1.56p all morning. The price seemsto be dropping even though there are more buys than sells. Not complaining, I'm still very interested in this company and intend to take advantage of the drop. As well as the Kalina cycle I think the water consevation is very interesting, it will become more valuable with time.
Have to agree that you have been the only real promoter of PPs - I've always said you should have had the job as their PR, you've definately earned it. I just don't understand why a company should become public if they aren't prepared to share information with the people who own it - the shareholders. Glad I sold most of mine and now hold only a few - just in case they get their act together.
sorry - would lend you my pacemaker if it ran off oil - just have to take your chances?
