Cadence owns 27% of DEV. See RNS 7th October.
Several bulk carriers have visited or are due to visit Santana port There is one loading now. Another due tomorrow and a third ETA unknown. Each load is worth $8m Should we expect an RNS on the subject soon or what else passes through the port and is loaded into bulk carriers?
Just bought another 19635 at 4.27 as I suspect a breakout imminently. Puts my average at 6.72. looking at my buying record, I should have sat on my hands for a while but instead got caught up in the fervour. Lowest price paid 2.25. Highest price paid 16.80 ? Why didn't I sell at 16? I thought then and still think they will hit £1.
with all these cheap buy backs going into treasury, when the SP explodes which it will have to do, a massive profit outside the oil revenues will be reported. If this company was quoted in the main market, we would be seeing double the SP! With AIM who knows?
MV Ina Lotte 39000 gt in Santana port. Are things moving ?
Many years ago I contacted Quadrise and asked if they were going to attend the international maritime fuel conference as it would be a great opportunity to bring their product to the attention of the shipping World. They answered that they thought it would be premature! I agree with you. A good idea but poor management. I came out at 9p but went back in at 3p ? Mistake ?
Buybacks are usually done with stealth and secrecy and announced when it is completed. . With UJO it was announced before they started which means they will have to keep bidding up. I know they had to apply for permission in the courts which meant it was in the public domain but it does smack of Gordon Brown announcing he was going to sell the UK gold reserves. Was he surprised to learn that the price had collapsed seconds later? When i was a dealer in the old market the jobber (mm) never knew which way you wanted to trade until he had quoted but with every enquiry received from S P Angel, the MM will know which way he wants to trade? On one occasion I advised the client to use another broker because the jobber knew which way I wanted to trade which meant the client could get a better quote with a different face. I would love to be a fly on the wall in the S P Angel's dealing room.
Can't help thinking that this was an AIM manipulated fall. They MMs must have had bear positions and their books would looks so much better with a 20% drop.? I topped up with another 4000 shares at 42. Had to do it in smaller amounts as there were no shares to buy. The guys at Winterflood securities are all millionaires on the back of us poor punters.
I cut my losses at 9 p years ago. I keep in touch just to see how they are doing? Nothing is the answer. Cant help thinking this is a good idea in the hands of incompetents. I jumped in when they announced that Maersk were going to do a trial? that amounted to nothing and now MSC. Next year the low carbon emissions rules are going to be enforced by the IMO (International Maritime Organisation) This will apply to 90% of the Worlds tonnage. Has QFI management seized on this ? I doubt it!

With a name like Mullins you worked for Panmure Gordan? I worked for Spencer Thornton 59 to 72 then Longman Towsey.

3 Bulk carriers loading in Santana! Can we just hope for some news? 40K per shipment is no chicken feed !
I have an ISA with Hargreaves. There charges are low and I like the instant awareness of the transaction. My other account is with IG and I sometimes find their trading methods frustrating because you don't always get a Yes/no on the deal. With Hargreaves if they can deal they offer you the deal and give you 15 seconds to respond. The spreadsheet is also clear as is the trading history. Any corporate actions are dealt with very well.
I had a holding in BCN (A lot of my investments were on the back of Cadence) and was making good money when they reached 155p Then the price kept falling for the reason that to benefit from the Lithium they had to find, $450m needed to build a processing plant. Then the Chinese came on the scene and we all clapped our hands. Little did we know that it was a cunning plan to wrest the shares away at a giveaway price. In the event, I settled for the lossmaking 67P offer but couldn't understand why the management sold out for so little? I hope I'm not witnessing deja vu.
Bulk carrier Key Frontier due in Santana 18th June. Another 40k load ?
I'm new to this board. I have been a LTH of UKOG and if they finally get their act together I will
be a millionaire. However Hurricane are already producing 9000 bpd and i'm shocked the SP isn't 10 times higher. I know there have been debt problems but with this amount of income, they will be short lived. Am I wrong . As a newcomer I would be grateful for your views !
