Drac, great post! Sums up things perfectly, but one caveat.... If you are SV or GM etc and know the road is rocky and uncertain with a 5 to 10 year timescale to commercialisation and multiple dilutions inevitable coming along as no cash flow, would you invest? We have too early perhaps, especially those that have been here for years. I say that with no disrespect to SH’s like myself as they do believe in the science but purely from a financial perspective, why not wait until it is proven? It seems to be now. I have invested in umpteen bios over the years but always at P2 as dilution is inevitable beforehand. Thats why they have never invested beforehand but maybe the tide is changing?

I agree in part Freddie, but what options does a jnr bio have with no cashflow? Dilution is inevitable and even if they had timed matters better, which they could have, we would still be where we are now, albeit a bit higher! Does anyone know whether a jnr bio with no cashflow and dependent on third party monies could have done any different apart from timing? Having tried to raise money myself, its bloody difficult even with cashflow! What have VAL done? What anyone would have done - spun a positive RNS and then announced a placing? Of course you would. Now l agree it has always been about the IP and lets hope that shines through in the coming weeks leading up to the AGM. The BoD are under pressure to alleviate the situation and l reckon they are working hard to get some positive out!

As for 201, it only completed P1/2 11 days ago so lots if immediate analysis to be done before the AGM. As for 401, we know SEEK are having to finance their portion, but the positive being with 2 x LoI we know about (who knows if more at the table on the original 6 mooted by GM) l wonder if they have their financing Geegee and just dotting i’s and crossing t’s?

Marmited, interesting point you make. The BoD would know damn well that EHGO would sell down the first tranche and in fact all from the outset which would put pressure on the SP from selling / dilution. Maybe this is what they needed to get 201 away with large pharma’s? If 201 can show an acceleration of PSA reduction and stop meta growth then 201 is a goer! The SP at present reflects funding uncertainty and no product info so is perhaps detracted from the real position. AIMHO

The upshot for me is three fold. 1. The science works so far 2. The short term funding amounts to £540000 so far 3. The rest is unknown so far It could be said a positive RNS or plural is potentially on the cards before AGM. VAL have cancelled the sub facility with ABO AIMHO

I think BoD know they have something of GREAT value or if nothing, then why not adopt a death spiral for another year and run the company in to the ground? Why just ST funding? Funny how all the big trades are buys and the sells are small fry? Not everything is at seems IMHO
