Is HGM now tethered to 300p (give or take a few p) no matter if the price of gold rockets to say $2200 / oz , in which case this should be over 400p maybe ? Likewise if pog slumps to say $1500 / oz, will we be insulated from a big fall in sp given Fridays RNS ?

...HGM is a good company indeed Herbieridesaga. I have almost 7k shares in this company at an average of around 190p. I believe gold will top $2k/oz in the near future, but I am struggling to get my head round why world stock markets are so high when lots of companies are going to go bust, government debts are going through the roof, unemployment is/about to rocket. The government can't bail everyone out. Maybe I am missing something !

World stock markets well overpriced in my opinion : FTSE around 1500 points too high imo, and Dow now back to were it was 15 months ago ! 26.4 million unemployment claims in the U.S, so no doubt Dow will hit all time highs in the next couple of months the way stock markets are going ….unbelievable !

333 more shares at 565 . The last time these shares were this low was 10 years ago, so although they may go lower, the long term should be up ! famous last words ! Buy when others are fearfull.

It's worth pointing out that SVS - XO share dealing is not the same as XO share dealing, which is by Jarvis Investment Management, as far as I am aware, or have I got this wrong ?

If you click on the Technical Chart you can see that SSE was last at a similar sp in April 2010 & before 2006 it was always much lower than it is now. Around 1999/2000 it was under 500p.

This share has always been very much under the radar. I wish I hadn't sold most of my 187K shares for about 17p in late 2012 or early 2013, or else I'd be minted by now !

In November 2006 BDEV was over 800p . By November 2008 BDEV was under 30p per share.
