Drax is less than 30 miles from where I live.

So much for orphan drug status indeed.
Take overs of companies are seldom more than double the market cap, so at 10M I may just break even, with my 6p ish average.
These are in the bottom draw for now, but I live in hope of being pleasantly surprised one day.

...GCAT reminds me of SXX - Sirius Minerals - who had £££s worth of potash under the ground, but ran out of money, and taken over by BHP I think, for a pittance. Private investors were shafted.

.....5k shares in TW @ 4.5p in November 2008. Unfortunately, I sold them for about 10p a couple of months or so later. There was a real danger of them going bust back then, otherwise I'd have filled my boots at that price.

Only a bargain if it goes up !
Well that's my 10k buy at 15:19 @18.29 so that's the kiss of death for this share now !

"Overall this looks as good as it gets for oil exploration" - I hope you are right, as similar things were said for ADV drill a few months ago, quoted as 95% chance of success, but was a duster and price crashed from 5.3p to 0.17p.
I am not in here, but very tempted. High risk & very high reward.

Could be due to "falling knife" syndrome. Why buy today, when you may be able to buy sub £1 soon ?
I am feeling the pain too, as my first buy here was around 205p and my average is about 164p.
Also holding IQAI at a 7p average, so I am in the same situation there too. The best strategy would have been to put all my hard earnt under the mattress ! Still confident on the long term outcome on both shares, but it still hurts ! Good luck all holders here. Hope our ship comes in eventually.

DOTD is usually such a slow moving share with only small rises & falls.

Does anyone know if it's possible we could have found, not only large volumes of commercial helium, but also super high concentrations of HE, such as 20%, 25% or even 30% plus?
The highest percentage I have seen anyone mention on here is about 14% HE. I'm not sure if talk of ultra high HE levels such as 30% are possible ?
I'm sure some of you knowledgeable folks may be able to answer this question.

....that's my final top up - 20760 @ 21.644p. Sold my 8166 shares in BCN to finance it. Let's hope we find helium and not hot air in the upcoming drilling campaign. I experienced dusters with Desire Petroleum & Chariot Oil in 2010/11 and it's not a nice feeling losing a 5 figure sum overnight ! Good luck all.
