Is it not the case that some rules have changed regarding the UK being a 'third country' as a result of leaving the EU/Single Market? This has been known for sometime and I think from April 1st enforcement has been put in place. Financial services were not part of Boris's deal but negotiations continue.
V prices are outside the control of the company. Certainly if v prices rise as they did in 2018, the sp would in time go up. Any rise like that would need to be for a substantive period so the company could take advantage through higher (huge) profits. Remember the target v price is based on the yearly average
I'm afraid this comes back to the fact that radio silence is being maintained which you have alluded to, save for mandatory / regulatory news (which is few and far between). We possibly have a month until the quarterly update. I thought there would have been something on the Electrolyte plant which was supposed to have started six weeks ago.
The service from Charles Stanley is excellent. Spoke to them yesterday and executed within 10 minutes and they sent me the contract notes straight away. The difference of .025 in the buy/sell I am very happy with and they have always get the margin tight. Only charged £11,50.
James what exactly do you want me to refute based on information supplied by the broker/ company? You need to get in touch with them if you think their estimates and costs are wrong. As I said the company is on track to make a reasonable profit, but this clearly isn’t 2018.
Jeez. I’m saying the company is profitable but not to the tune of 60 million this year on V sales. Its information supplied by the company , it may well be underestimated ( won’t know till it actually happens) but you really need to take onboard detail in company figures and not be selective. Negative??!!
So pray tell James, what are the figures you have? I’m using the brokers figures baed on company guidance.

The estimated costs for Vametco are $20 and Vanchem $26 (increased due to refurb). On top of this are additional costs (admin, sundries, etc). That could be around $3 to $4 (I believe bbn estimated slightly more). We would probably need the V price to hit $50+ to ensure the average is maintained
