Ebioss, through its subsidiary Eqtec, has signed a strategic alliance with Grupo Cobra, of the ACS group, to build waste gasification projects, the company reported.
The group dedicated to waste treatment said that the objective of this agreement is to identify and collaborate in large-scale commercial projects that will use the Eqtec Gasifier Technology (EGT) throughout the world.
Specifically, Eqtec, the Ebioss group company that provides proprietary technology solutions for waste gasification in energy projects, and the subsidiary of ACS have already begun identifying opportunities in the United Kingdom.
The president of Ebioss, Oscar Leiva, stressed that this alliance is the result of "an extensive 'technological due diligence' developed in the last months" and valued that the combination of experiences of both companies allows "new and valuable opportunities throughout the world in large projects of more than 50 MW ".
Eqtec and Cobra will jointly review each new opportunity identified individually to ensure the best implementation of Ebioss technology in the projects.
Thus, the Ebioss subsidiary will provide the basic and detailed engineering and technical design for the complete gasification package with EGT. In addition, it will provide performance guarantees on the generation of gas, together with the equipment agreed upon in the specific infrastructure.
