Whats going on here today. Must be some insider knowledge of something negative pending

I've read today that the Pru are trying to buy a £3bn share of the old Bradford & Bingley mortgage loans book. I don't believe they are looking to get into the mortgage market but can someone with greater knowledge of this area explain what's the Pru are aiming to achieve from this?

I bought into GNC about a month ago after reading it was ICs top tip for 2017. After big drop since, all been vindicated and todays update and SP rise makes me want to top up and hold long term

Anyone got a view on this. I have read it that because of the tanking pound it has a big cost implication for DC as a lot of their goods are imported and consequently it will have a big impact on their margins

Sorry blue2guit. I misread Morningstars share news yesterday as Diamond selling his 47% stake

The biggest shareholder who holds a 47% in Ibstock interest has instructed his bank advisors to dispose of his entire holding. I still like this company long term but I sold my entire holding when the market opened and hope to buy them back at much lower price. I need to keep a close eye over next few days

I've been invested in PRU for about 4 years now and despite the continuous great performance of the company the SP is well down from it's highs. Its always quoted that much of this is down to investors attitude to the slow down in China and its implications in Asia yet despite this PRU continues to produce great performance which is currently not showing in its share price. I still believe this is a great company which continues to increase its dividend and I'm confident that the future holds great things for this company

Having been a long term investor in UDG Healthcare it amazes me that there are never any posters here. Be good to hear from other investors on what they feel the future holds

Been in here since the IPO and consider todays drop in the light of their qtrly report a massive over reaction. As can be seen by the number and volume of purchases today. Great opportunity to top up.be interested to hear from other investors

Given the huge strides Prudential has made in Asia and China I expect the volatility and drop in China confidence is lowering expectations for Prudential., especially on top of the legislative hold up in India. I'm quite a nervous investor waiting for next weeks statement.

Just got an email from DC offering 30% Off loads of stock.but only for next 30 hours. Why would they need to be doing that to run out on day of YE Announcement unless they needed too. Could it be worrying that they're a bit short of their target ?

John Lewis have agreed a tie up to sell mobile packages in direct competition with DC and Carphone Warehouse. I'd be interested to hear any views on how this might impact on DC investors

Hi Bigsi. Been in this for a couple of years now and I don't think the drop relates to anything specific about DC performance or expectations. I think markets everywhere are adjusting downwards a bit and probably a bit more to come in the UK with the election outcome so uncertain. I'm sitting tight as I think there's a good top up opportunity coming.
