If NM wants to sell Cascabel then after PFS is a good time I’d guess. If he wants to sell Solgold inc. cascabel then after Monday’s gov. announcement, 2020 would seem a better fit. None of the above stops a bid coming in at any time.

According to the slide presentation of the MERNNR representative (bullets translated from the Spanish), the technical and environmental advantages of scout drilling are:
Technical Advantages
• Greater certainty of subsoil geological information
• Identification of mineral deposits in the initial exploration phase
• Increase in employment and investment in the first four years of mineral exploration
• Accelerated change to the advanced exploration phase
• Opportunity for the concession holder to obtain greater investment for the development of the
mining project
Environmental Advantages
• Number of permitted drill platforms depending on environmental sensitivity of area: maximum of 40 platforms per concession, and 20 platforms in highly environmentally sensitive areas
• Expedited administrative process (environmental “registration” as opposed to “license”)

However the gambler in me agrees with my other theory. In the April company presentation on page 16 (3D modelling page) there are 2 areas that go off the cascabel plot to the north east and west. Looks like the printer ran out of ink. Well these 2 areas could possibly be a new target? I always thought it was a bit strange to include them as they run off outside of plots we don’t own.

How much do we estimate this is costing us a year? What’s the risk to reward and the benefit we have compared to others? Rio can’t get into Ecuador now & for the time being all new exploration areas are sown up with us owning the majority. Doesn’t that add some value to us as a company & or offers us a big future after cascabel sale?
