I was interested to see the exact location of the mine in Mali and how close it is to local towns and population. Jeez, it's really isolated and no where near any real population. This mine aint shutting down like populated western countries!

Refineries shutting in a short term would not be great but as long as we can keep digging relatively unscathed then once they open again we have it ready to be delivered and we all know that gold is about to go on a 5 year bull run.
I'm just hoping HUM's drills are finding more gold during this period to add more years to LOM.
The even more positive outlook is getting someone to take the risk on DUGBE that is now going to look very economical. We've undervalued for so long and had such bad luck, maybe it's time for a run of good luck!

As of 2 days ago (could not find any other article) Mali was Covid free. That will obviously change at some point but will not affect Q1 production.

Going forward, the refineries shutting will surely have a big implication on physical POG so that’s another reason why we are hedged well compared to other mining companies.

A question regarding the $1350 hedge HUM has for H1.
Wasn’t that just a certain amount of ounces per month and not all of it?
Either way it will not matter soon if POG doubles up like it did in 2008. If governments are printing even more money & Trump is talking about refinancing... the future looks very bright for HUM & Cora.

Corona has not bee affecting Mali so you can only assume that production will be a record Q1 and even the best quarter to date.
The drills have been there for 10days and hopefully we can get some more news on Dugbe. Bring it on!

I'm liking HUM's behaviour recently. Steady progress each day, no spikes. Has allowed me to gradually add more leading unto Q1 results in 40 days.

It was not discussed much here because it happened when the markets were tanking but I thought the Cora/HUM testing is really positive for both companies. This relationship and potential LOM gains/ or CGP earning early money/ no dilution is certainly not priced into either company! Especially when gold is at this price and might be for the next few years.
