That's fair Trurotrader, but in 2 or 3 years time do we really want to risk looking back saying what we've said the last 7 years of great promise is imminent ( as its been 7 and not 6 years to date) left saying...hopefully in year 10,11,12.

The original plan back in 2014 was for a trade sale/buyout in 2 or 3 years and at £1+ even reaching hopes of £2. Oh! those missed expectations. Doh! those frequent hiccups.

What's the odds it takes us so long to see our imminent (lmao) delivery that it allows a hiccup or two to proceed it yet again.

China/Taiwan issues develop
Further dilution
And most likely of all - something we can't begin to foresee today but will know tomorrow.
Should we just ignore 7 years of repeated history?
Let's say we've seen enough BOD efforts to recover their reputations after litigation fiasco and the verdict is in the share price, lack of PR, details, numbers and lack of interest with absolutely pitiful share volume!!! That's a verdict that has been repeatedly delivered to date unfortunately, so let's move to find a buyer. With just 2 interested parties bidding we should secure 20p rock bottom and I would think 25p+. Yes I'd settle in a heart beat rather than rely on delivery before next hiccup. I do understand those seeking delivery of the promise we can all see and wanting to wait. I just don't think we will see it on any expected timeframe based on everything I've ever seen here for 7 long years as we sit at recent all time lows begging for some insight into covid test details without a single number ever reported. etc

We go from one month to the next year being led like Donkeys on one promise after another unforeseen hiccup.
Once you see it - failed land grab, litigation, covid, tba - you understand a buyout would mean the next hiccup/excuse/clusterfeck would not matter, for it surely will arrive otherwise to prolong 6 years to 7,8,9,10.

Amongst all the cheering I said there's actually a good chance we will get nothing from any Govt Lot contract. Realistically it's a medium maybe or a hopeful possibility for anything at all from any Lot. Let's hope our luck changes as something material and numerated to announce is sorely needed and hard to find. Hence 12p.

Back to the year's low and a price once unthinkable but now normal.
Newsflow has been rather anemic considering all the avenues available.

Reading between the lines this delay says to me they are on their knees hit by covid and results could even be as late as 13/8. True enough we should get a covid test update, but I'm already asking where is it? All the time passed and progress assumed made with MHC, Boots etc and we go months without a word. Well past what would reasonably be expected and when we have never had a single figure, ever. Just why have we not already had a covid test update?

Just get a buyout at 25p++ and end this misery of promising delivery yet endlessly failing to deliver shareholder value.

Here's a thought - apart from that I've unfortunately been more right than wrong about Yourgene for years - the lack of interest and weak share price in the run up to expecting imminent covid test update and Results tells me the following.....the Results are not going to help much and I'd guess covid update will not have much traction either if it comes as factored in already or without enough detail or numbers and no other news imminent. Best will be a spike and retrace. I hope that's wrong and my weak forecast is blown out of the water, but i will go on all past experience. God! Please God deliver a change from all past experience with a sustained rising share price. Pray for a miracle.

we should very shortly get notification I expect as July is nearly over. I don't think it's going to meet my hopes when it finally arrives as it always falls short whenever I think it should steady the ship or buoy us up it ends up delayed, insufficient and underplayed often with items missing or further delayed. We shall see if 49th time changes anything.

Briefed news that doesn't arrive - most recent example US contract.
Weak to poor investor relations. Acknowledged implicitly by LR in a presentation - most recent example lack of covid update and no transparency on date of Results.
Shareholder value crushed as lots of news. ALL bereft of detail, name or number. Volume does not make up for lack of substance!
PR weak and when expected news actually does arrive - often it doesn't - then the accompanying narrative underplays instead of promotes.
Too much time due to delays - latest example covid update, US contract.

This small list just touches the sides without mentioning LR originally telling us NIPT revenue was unaffected by covid before coming clean with figures. Told reporting would be more formalised, yet we wait with no idea other than expected imminently.

There's much to say on both sides of this issue, but the share price has the final say, so my view seems better evidenced until the metrics change and some folks wake up. How long is this piece of string as delivery has been due every year for the last 6 or so.

If comedy clown ever finds an objective bone in his body and just ONCE talks about what needs to be done better or what concerns he has and what remedy he would suggest, then I will stop pointing it out. Try to remember I have been looking to reduce and then buying back because yet another buying opp arrived too good to miss for over 18 months.
It's been a productive time personally, but I have always wanted to see share price appreciation and traded the opportunities.
